Trains through Spalding - September 2021

September was the best month for a variety of trains on the GN/GE Joint that we have seen for a long time. You will not want to miss this, so take a look and let me know what you think.

Nice September weather helped to produce another fine video from Spalding. Lots of interesting stuff captured Roy, especially the 73's. They are a bit early with the RTT this year, has no one told Network Rail that the leaves are still on the trees!

Thanks for another video. I’m pleased you managed to see Flying Scotsman on her way to Skegness. The tour reversed at Sleaford so at lunchtime it came though Boston diesel 1st, but we did see it steaming back. Sadly there we had friends on the railtour & they said at Firsby & several other rural locations people were trespassing on the track.

Wasn't Spalding station massive at one stage? I seem to recall a picture of the flower festival trains with at least 7 or 8 parked up in various sidings.

Yes David its changed a bit, you can see what it was like in many other videos that are on this channel.
