My heart is heavy and broken with the loss of Olivia Newton-John, who passed away this last week. Our world lost one of the greatest human beings of our time. When I look back at the era in which she gave such love and devotion to us with her incredible, amazing, voice of an angel from heaven, I always regarded her as one of the best of the best. And now we face a world without her gentle soul to influence, inspire, and help us feel better about the aspects of life. She will be so sorely missed. But, on the other hand, I’m also glad she no longer must struggle with her terrible battle with cancer and that she is finally at peace. But God Almighty… I will miss her so!! A legend. A true star. An angel from heaven. The best of the best! Thank you dear Olivia for all that you gave us for so many years. You will always be in my heart until my final breath. I’m hopelessly devoted to you! The loss of Olivia Newton-John breaks my heart. Both she and Barry Gibb were the only links I had left with my Dad. He was called to Heaven in 1986 and he took with him part of my heart. Through their music I remember what I can about Dad. Their music transports me back in time and for a little while we are together again. What an extraordinary gift they have given me. I wish I had the chance to tell them how grateful I am that they were in the world. Barry I tell you now, but Olivia I am sorry I didn't get to say "Thank You"!😭❤❤❤

Two unbelievable talents. I was a teenager during this time and it was incredible to listen to their songs come out. They just don’t make music like this anymore.

ONJ looks so young & beautiful. It was hard to believe she was going on 61 yrs old in this video (she looks nearly 20 years younger). If only the cancer left her alone. She had beaten it in the early 90's and truly deserved to see out her life cancer-free. We will never see her like again. She really was the first queen of pop. She was a hugely successful Country music star, and then crossed over into the pop music in the late 70's & early 80s. Her single 'Physical' was the biggest selling single of the 80s (which in-turn was the biggest selling decade in music history). She also was first major pop star to champion the music video. She made a music video for every track on the album 'Physical' (a mixture of both 'story' & 'performance' music videos) and showed them all in a TV special in 1981 (the first artist to ever do this btw), and then she also starred in the biggest musical of all time. And although Xanadu wasn't the major commercial success everyone hoped for, it did spawn the most successful soundtrack album of that year (plus the movie Xanadu did inspire the successful music shows like Glee and High school musical decades later). She was such an inspiration to everyone (including Madonna who ripped-off her 'blonde short-hair' style from ONJ ). Sadly we will never see the likes of ONJ ever again (nor the Bee-Gees for that matter). The world is a sadder place without her. To paraphrase a line from the movie Xanadu: 'We will lover her forever'. RIP Olivia (and Andy, Maurice & Robin)

This got me emotional for two reasons, I always loved the Bee Gees and felt so bad for Barry since his brothers passed, after singing together all their lives, but put that on top with Olivia Newton John singing this with him knowing she just passed, is a double sad. RIP beautiful soul.

So Beautiful. Such natural harmony. WHY didn't these two brilliant talents work together on a full album? Olivia was often called "The Fourth Bee Gee." She took care of their brother, Andy while he was struggling when living in Malibu. I think a full LP of Barry with Olivia is a tremendous, (stupid), omission for intelligent, contemporary popular music. There is still a large market of people who appreciate melodic harmonies & great lyrics. I'm sad that it never happened. And of course, sadder that we lost Olivia.
