My first LGB Train set and it combines two things I love - trains and building blocks! These are perfectly LEGO compatible and the blocks are high quality! It is LGB #90463 Building Block Train Starter Set 120 Volt. This is a great starter set. We will use our massive LEGO collection and build some things for the train cars.

Just to clear one thing up, Märklin bought the marketing rights and tooling to LGB when they where going bankrupt in the early 2000's. So yes, this is LGB, it simply says Märklin on it because they own LGB.

This is a fantastic idea..LGB and Lego together. I think this loco is 'Otto' and represents a 3 foot 3 narrow gauge railroad. Marklin bought LGB some years ago so the logo is there but it's made by Marklin. I use the LGB toy trains for my garden layout and they're great quality. This is probably the first video I've seen of someone actually demonstrating the Block building wagons being used. And these have been around for roughly 3 years.

You could do something like this yourself. Glue an appropriate size LEGO plate on an LGB flat car/wagon.

Trains are fun have you ever heard of Piko they make good G scale trains to 100% compatible with LGB and also you should get a DCC system my first recommendation is to get the piko DCC system that is the best DCC system for G scale trains

Märklin and LGB are here from Germany and once Märklin bought it and thats why there is also standing Märklin because LGB is now kinda the G Scale part of Märklin (The little text also says ,,Eine Marke von Märklin" which means translated ,,a brand from Märklin") Little add: Nice German skills XD the accent is nice XD Was there already the correct adapter inside that you can run it or how did you plug it in ?

Thanks very much for the info! I use to rely on my daughter for translation but she got married so she is not here much. They must have versions of the set for USA because it came with the correct power cord. I also have a universal power converter because I need it sometimes with other electric trains and LEGO stuff

How so? I’ve been buying from them for years. It’s advertising for them. I’ve worked hard for years to build a following. I’ve spent thousands of dollars of my own money establishing this channel. It’s frustrating that people don’t care that athletes and movie stars get sponsored but if a KZfaqr that’s working a full time job and spending thousands of hours making videos that people watch for free then it’s bad. Makes no sense
