Here is my second pack of the Trainz Whistles and Horns I made! Links will be posted soon.

Edit 5/13/23: In this video, SP 4449’s Star Brass 5 chime whistle actually came off of a scrapped CB&Q M4 locomotive, hence the name change of the whistle compared to this video.
Edit 5/24/23: The LV whistle for 261 is actually from the L&NE, not the Lehigh Valley.
Also, the Nathan K3L I also had included here, I couldn’t find the original source for that sound anymore, but it was from Greg Scholl’s “CN Snow Plow with F Units,” but I didn’t use the one from the sequel “Plow Extras,” also by Greg Scholl Video Productions.
And also, the audio for these whistles and horns I have showcased belong to their respective owners. I wasn’t trying to steal nor was I trying to plagiarize anybody.

1:47 This recording is likely from Brad Miller's 4449 Pinnacle. In that sample, I can very faintly hear the high note in that NP Challenger 3 Chime playing a F# which I think stopped working in the early 2000s.

Im so happy you made sp daylight gray mode but i heard UP big boy 4014 whistle, it looks like N&W 611 whistle. Im happy to you! Your good of trains

That “Gray Mode” locomotive is actually a color scheme for the Lark trains on the SP. Also, when you said that you heard 4014’s whistle and it “looks” like 611’s whistle, you should say it “sounds” like it, because the whistle is hidden behind the smokestack of the Big Boy, while 611’s is literally hidden within the top of its boiler. Therefore, you can’t see the sound, but you can only hear it, and see the steam coming from the whistle.

Oh. Btw she used two whistles from the 1970s: the original 3 chime, and the SP 6 chime. The locomotive was also equipped with a Leslie A-200 air horn, but I might add those in the third one coming soon.

You just have to copy the kuid numbers of the whistle/hornsound assets you want to use on any of your locomotives (Steam or diesel) and paste the numbers onto where it says “hornsound” and paste your number over the preexisting one. FYI: This will NOT work on any Auran/DLC Payware content! You can ONLY edit the ones from the DLS, any 3rd Party website (Jointed Rail, K&L Trainz, etc) but NOT the DLCs, the content from the official Trainz store. I tried it myself, and the game won’t allow you!

Back in the 80s it was, it rang much slower in the 90s, now the locomotive is inactive. However, I think it might run again sometime in the future. I’m not 100% sure but that’s what I heard recently.

Besides the wheels? My guess is that they’re just built that way. I don’t know. But I know a couple of things: 1. I didn’t include the 576 whistle or model in this video, but I will in the third one. 2. The 576 and 2102 look the same because the size of the entire locomotives almost match, and they’re both 4-8-4 northerns.

FYI, at the time when I was editing this video, I didn’t know that the Star Brass 5 chime for the 4449 was actually a CB&Q 5 chime formally from a scrapped M4 class 2-10-4 steam locomotive.

4:55 was that canadian national 3254's old whistle? The New York central streamlined locomotive doesn't have that whistle

Yes it was, and I am very aware the Hudsons didn’t have that particular whistle. Also that was supposed to be the whistle from Meet the Robinsons, I pointed that out in the video.

You mean the 3751 class northern? Yeah I kinda noticed that, except that there were a lot of steam locomotives using that whistle on the Santa Fe. Plus, I really doubt that the 3751 was operational in the 1960s, the same decade when the Frosty the Snowman TV special was aired the first time.

Nope. There are some models I used in Momma in a Box, which K&L Trainz is one of the sources. The DLS (Download Station) is another source, but not from the video itself.

Not yet. For that one I have a better idea, it’s actually going to include the 1993-2012 whistle as well as the out-of-tune version from the 80s. The N&W 1218’s whistle in a Nutshell is ready, and it’ll be out this Halloween.

Twice the regular speed, which you can hear the bell ringing in other videos with CN 3254 before her retirement in 2012.

@ThisCaptainLilDude Funny story, even when the video isn’t sped up, the bell rings at regular intervals. But not back in the late 1980s and early 1990s when the bell rang at different intervals until they changed it in the later years. Even if Steamtown had enough money to make 3254 Steam up again, I bet they would have the bell ringing at the same intervals like sometime after the 90s idk, but we would have to find out in the future. Now that I think about it, maybe a wealthy individual might have enough money not only for 3254’s restoration, but also to fix any, if not all of the infrastructure on the railroad property. Only time will tell.

It’s not that one particular video, it’s also another one featuring McCloud River Railroad #19. Also, if someone else reuploaded these videos, these videos would be blocked because of copyright infringement.
