TTT is just entertaining to watch. I'm actually kind of surprised that there aren't more TTT clone games to play. I guess there's not enough of a community of actual players to get a combination fps/social deduction game off of the ground.

@@onatamana3362I mean the genre is pretty massive minus the fps aspect. Which makes sense given fps isn't necessarily fun for everyone. But I always saw Among Us as a less entertaining(to watch) version of TTT, then there's Dread Hunger, Deducto, Project Winter, all Roblox copies of those games, and more.

@@johnm9263I think the problem is that developers try to make a TTT like game, but make it a more balanced and more focused game, which probably makes it a technically better game to play, but TTT has so much fuck-around potential that it is the more fun game to watch.

They could almost be a pack of cards, I counted 44 people that have been in TTT, including regular guests like RTGame, checkpoint, wilson but not including the rooster teeth crossover. You can also minus 2 Redacted people.

Also a problem of order. The order of the cards matters if you want 52! different decks of cards. If the order didn't matter it would be 52!/52!=1, since all cards are always present. Since order doesn't matter in the Yogscast TTT sessions, if all Yogscast members were chosen randomly to participate it would be 44 choose 7. That is 44!/(7!*(44-7)!)=38'320'568. If we assume they have played 1000 episodes of TTT, then that would make the probability of a particular group being a repeat at 1000/38'320'568 < 0.01%

@@ratchetqwark89 if you pay real CLOSE attention, you'll notice the uploads happen in spurts. It's usually because they get a group together and record like 2-4 hours of gameplay and then we'll get like 4 episodes of GTA. Also, I'm sure the pay attention to their Twitch channel late at night, which the viewers are able to vote on what to watch, and it mainly plays TTT reruns. They know what their audience likes.

I like both for different reason, in TTT things get crazy and everyone loses track of what's going on in the game. As where in GTA it's more conversation based, mainly due to it being predominantly racing and not something that takes a lot of "game focus" I think of it as GTA is something you can listen to and not have to worry to much about what's on screen VS you want to watch TTT actively so see the hijinks that can happen.

There was a twilight zone episode that had a haunted pair of shoes. It would give you the personality of the dead guy and he’s go to try and kill the boss that killed him. He failed and they’d toss the body, only for some bum to find it and take the shoes repeating the cycle.

In regards to the car thing, the car my dad drives, it's previous owner just passed away in the drivers seat and was found. They had trouble selling it because of that, nothing wrong with it, just had a dead guy sat in it. I drive it around and think about it sometimes.

I might be wrong but I believe there's a specific insurance write off category for when a crash kills an occupant though, and I think that those cars then can't be sold on / have to be scrapped (obviously that's different to your haunted car)

I don't know if Rythian is right about the detonator randomat. I remember Duncan complaining about how the innocents always win because people would randomly click their detonators and usually end up killing the traitors.

Pretty much. Unless one of the traitors has a detonator for his buddy (so he´s protected), the innocents will most likely blow both of them up before they can do anything.

Yeah, there was a round a while ago where Duncan complained that Innocents could just win the randomat by instantly using the detonator. People didn't believe it so they used half of the episode to trigger the randomat and then simply having everyone use the detonator instantly. I believe Innocents won every round, though, one was pretty close.

I’ll never forget the drink dispenser SCP because it was on an early episode of the YogPod. Simon was telling spooktacular stories and that SCP can dispense any liquid. In two examples, it was asked to dispense the greatest drink in the world. Someone drank it and then killed themselves because everything up until that point had just been one huge let down in comparison. Another, it was asked for a cup of Joe. But it takes the ingredients from the world around it. So it took a chunk out of their coworker named Joe.

Just regarding the first 2 minutes: Duncan wouldn't have been able to even blow up the barrels if he had been a Jester. I have noticed it before, but that is a difference between the real Jester, and at least some of the other jester-roles. None of them will deal damage with barrels though

To add more chaos they should add another jester roll that has a buy menu of it's own and in the buy menu they can buy a gun that does damage and when they kill someone that person would then comeback with full health. The gole for this roll would be to die 2 or maybe even 3 times. Or maybe there goal could be to kill everyone at least once. I dont know how this could work but it would be a good roll to add chaos. The name of this role chaos clown, or maybe deathster

I'm pretty sure the one they are talking about is a coffee machine (SCP-294) that would produce any liquid asked for. They talked about it on one of the Yogpods if I remember correctly.

@@nyx4833 Yeah SCP-294 is the coffee machine, that also does non-liquids, such as "a cup of relevant medical knowledge" in certain situations. There's also SCP-261, a pan-dimensional vending machine, that dispenses all kinds of random shit.

Regarding the question at the start, the chances of having the same cast in a ttt video is very low (excluding videos from the same recording sessions) If you take all the people that have played ttt in recent years (Lewis, Duncan, Ben, Osie, Bouphe, Tom, Lydia, Zylus, Rythian, Zoey, Fionn, Ped, Boba, Wilsonator, Shadow, Spiff, RTGame, Checkpoint, Tom B, Gee, and just in case I missed anyone I'll add 2 more to that count for good measure) you end up with 22 people. TTT sessions have 7 or 8 people in them, so to get the number of combinations of people you will have to do 22 x 21 x 20 x 19 x 18 x 17 x 16 (x15 for 8 people), which gives you 859,541,760 combinations of 7-person sessions, and 12,893,126,400 combinations of 8-person sessions. This fact is utterly useless but now you know

Not to geek out on Star Trek, but the replicators have to be specifically programmed for each recipe. There have been a few mentions of replicators being specifically programmed to have the cuisines of visiting dignitaries etc.

Most recently, Strange New Worlds showed the enterprise crew trying to program a recipe for Klingon coffee, which is a common thing to order in Deep Space Nine, set 100+ years later.

Oh definitely, definitely. Lots of custom recipes are in there too. Pretty sure I remember references to Sisko's meals being in there! Love the idea of meeting an alien race and being given the code for a whole new branch of cuisine!

@@nilesy My favourite example of that is from All Good Things, where it is revealed that Tea, Earl Grey, Hot was added into the recipe banks on Picard's request.

Lewis, you Duncan, Rythian, and Zylus (And Ben) are the main cast of TTT. That leaves only 2-3 slots per session that guest stars fill out. To be fair Ben being absent makes it more likely this cast is unique.
