I'm also a female producer and have to say it's great to see other female producers out there! There are a lot of us, but even the music industry is heavily male dominated. So we don't seem to get the spotlight as much.

@Curtis Steele no, actually gender means A LOT. If you're a woman and you're doing something that's more for males, you won't get all the success that a man gets and you'll be also sexualised.

@Curtis Steele LOL WHY ARE U SO MAD AT THE TRUTH ??? She will not be seen as a "producer" she will always be seen as a "female producer". Men dominate mainly every entertainment industry they make more money, are more famous, are taken seriously. If u can't see that, you are the problem.

You are completely correct. It's a very male dominated industry. I am a male and I hope that this would change. Even looking through the comments under this video - so much misogyny! And I don't even know how to support women who are producers or want to be producers. I've been part of producers communities for 20 years - and I don't think that I've met more than 2 female producers in those communities.

As an aspiring female producer, this is VERY inspiring to keep on doing what I'm doing! I was losing a lot of motivation to continue producing just because it feels like producing is a very male dominated sphere and there's this notion that men do it better. I'm not trying to sound like an SJW or anything, but that's been my legitimate experience in music production. It's just really nice and inspiring to see other women in the field excelling at what they do!

Labels don’t want to pay bedroom producers because that means they have to pay the producer, artist and engineer

She's super dope! I'm sure she's the "dream girl" of a lot to any producer/beat maker. She's bigger than beats. Just the thought of meeting such a creative being that is creative within something that pertains specifically to how you see, and feel, would be a connection that's rare to the norm. People have crazy relationships with one another, but two actually talented and creative people would be nothing like any other connection between woman and man. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

love the coverage of woman producers, but the title: Beauty & The Beats seems kinda sexist. Why does beauty factor in with describing women and music? Can't think of when beauty/looks is every factored in when covering men producers.
