Altengrad is a Cities: Skylines series where I build a Central European city. The series starts around the year 1920 and slowly advances forward in time, which means the city will naturally evolve all the way to modern times. The city is not a recreation of any real-life city, although the project is supposed to be closely realistic, so inspiration was drawn from various existing cities in Central Europe.

@@user-mh2uj7ns6h It's not even a recreation of any real life city, it's pure fictional and layout of the roads are completely made-up. How can you say "it's basically Prague" when it's not even a recreation of it? Now I know why this was taking time. I can see there is a lot of hustle bustle in central part of city and very silent outskirts. Very realistic addition. From above the city looked cramped up in small space with very high density but actually there is a lot of space between road and buildings and I like it. Marvelous job 👍👍 . The sheer amount of mods and custom assets used in this town must be mind-blowing - just look at all those "themed" citizens with period clothing. Also reminds me more of Czech towns rather than of German ones (despite both having similar architecture). It's also fitting that the name is Germano-Slavic - Altengrad and not Altenstadt or Starograd :) The only thing which the game engine makes not super-believable is the sheer amount of personal cars, there just weren't as many in 20s-30s. But it's not the player's fault of course.

Judging by the cars, it's the 1920s-30s, and if this was a North American city, I would say that I can't imagine the extensive streetcar system surviving for much longer.
