I grew up listening to zevon from his first album to his last. Saw him twice live. Great rendition.

I can't hear this without my throat tightening and my eyes getting wet. The perfect marriage of exquisite beauty and simplicity. I know he could be a horse's @$$ but he wrote some bona fide masterpieces, and this is one of them. A gorgeous, respectful cover. Well done.
