I went to one of his concerts in France 2 months ago, and this song was the last song they played... while he got up a message appeared on the white screen which said : "I feel heavy-hearted when I think about the pain of the world these two last years. But I am grateful to be with you, to find solace together thanks to music. I pray for everybody's health and happiness" - Joe Hisaishi I never cried so much while listening to Joe Hisaishi's music.This man is an angel from another world... he embodies kindness and humanity.

I would say something like "play this at my wedding" but every time I listen to this song I snob uncontrollably. I can barely articulate why. it just reminds me how beautiful the world is and how thankful I am to have the people I love in my life. I'm not a fan of clichés but I hope one day I get to slow dance to this song with the love of my life whomever that may be.

Before the Australian lockdown first started, I got the chance to watch Joe Hisashi live and let me tell you, it was beautiful, especially considering at the time, Australia was still recovering from bushfires. So grateful I got to see this live.

No matter how hard life gets, no matter how much we want to just give up, we have to keep moving forward. I am blessed to have lived this life knowing the Studio Ghibli films, Hayao Miyazaki and of course, Joe Hisaishi. I have listened to this piece thousands of times and this live performance brought tears to my eyes. Just beautiful in every way. May there be peace in this world to those who are yearning to live. 本当にいい曲です。宮崎駿監督と久石譲さんたち、ジブリの映画に関わった方々に感謝をします。数日前もののけ姫を見て感動しました。自然と共存していくこと、人にはそれぞれの正しいと思っている正義感がありそれを押し通すとすると争いが起こってしまうこと、どんなにどん底に落ちても生きていればまだやり直せること、生きていくことの強さなど語り切れないくらい学びました。また見に行きたいです。
