Certainly not a bad idea but just keep in mind despite her getting an upgrade she might wind up constantly getting wrecked with all the Sephiroth parties that'll be running around for awhile. I think the only thing that will really bring light evasion back in strength is eventually when ff6 rerun happens and we get Transcendence for Locke. But even still Sephiroth is gonna be cleaning up light teams for awhile

@Pika Jew Not saying Locke himself is so special, but a competent evasion team would require usually more than one functional evasion unit and Locke is the best light evasion unit other than Elena. So his transcendence will help make him more reliable in that regards.

Now that it's out on Global, there's one thing I noticed that I don't think anyone gave attention to (from my research, anyway); Levels 121-140 do not contribute to Elemental Mastery.

Pretty sure this is the end of my being able to fight my way into the top 1k of the arena or competing in things like class match lol. Fully transcended whale units will be strong enough to overpower elemental advantage. Oh well, I've been drifting more casual anyways, so no big deal. It is what it is. I had some good runs back in the before time haha

Yeah personally I'm not fond of the transcendence system. The upgrade to 140 isn't bad but the star system and stuff is convoluted and just another new system to make whales separate the gap more.

King mont and cloud gone take lvl140 than try get sphiroth but take him to lvl120 than 140 gone take long time so hope we get 3 of that item to upgrade to lvl140 of we get 4 WOL too it hard to pike >.

I didnt pull for her but from my experience in arena vs her, she hits hard with the amount of spr pen she has. Im curious why you guys feel she is underwhelming

@zikzein you have to hedge for too many weaknesses with her. Release unit type horrible cast times, mediocre speed, vc bad for water magic, no barrier breaker, low accuracy, no surehits, dmg same as other lower cost magic units. Just an average unit, not worth the 100 cost.

These changes are all really good, but my issue with transcendence is that they come out with way too many at once for how restrictive the material cost is. If they're going to gate us behind materials they should release half or 1/3 the units at a time. I understand the goal is to FOMO us into spending money but they're screwing with players' mental health in a big way.

I feel like out of the FF7 units at least Barrett got the best upgrade. Unfortunately even though I have him I never intended to max him because I've never liked his character. Easily worst FF7 party member after Cait Sith in my opinion. Maybe I'll slow build him, not sure if I even care enough yet.
