In this Steve's Garage video I share a simple way to heat and insulate a cabinet in your garage. I'll be working with a Kobalt cabinet that I previously assembled in another video, but this method would work for any garage cabinet.
Many garages are unheated. Once temperatures drop the products you keep in your garage can freeze. Rather than try to heat the whole garage, just heat a cabinet instead. In my case I'm trying to heat a cabinet with car detailing products, but this would work for things like paint or woodworking products as well.
By using a simple dehumidifier rod, in my case the Goldenrod Dryer from Lockdown, and some board insulation from Lowes, you can easily keep a cabinet above freezing. Ensuring whatever products you're storing in your cold garage don't end up in the trash.
Below is an Amazon affiliate link for the products mentioned in the video. It won't cost you any extra, and I'll earn a small commission from your purchase!
