@@123myIT Is an issue they should address. Still trying to wrap my love around the Samsung galaxy note though. Other than the memory issue, restricted downloads, and inability to use two apps at the same time, am starting to realize that an iPhone is kinder smoother to navigate relative to an android phone. Android platform is okay but a little annoying.

It is super simple to go from iOS to Android but it is a pain and pretty much impossible to go from Android to iOS, specially with your messages. Those are just not transferable and switch to icloud bring them into iPhone BUT and its a BIG BUT, each message imports with the date and time as of the import date and time so even your messages from years ago look like they were just received now... what a mess... atleast for me. Contacts and pictures/vids are not a problem at all either iOS to Android or Android to iOS.

How to transfer whatsapp from the iphone to android? I have not seen a good tutorial yet i think it is not possible without a computer. I cannot transfer chats to google drive in the backup of whatsapp because the option google drive is not avalaible. So that is a big problem.

Offically game data wont go from iPhone to Android. But their might be 3rd party apps. Check with game developer.

pew you can backup messages from the whatsapp, so when you entered a new phone with the same number, then it will backup your message from the other phone.

Photos should go across mate. Notes wont tho. I suggest using Google Keep for notes. That why they will follow you on iPhone or Android phones.

Thank you. Does this transfer a backup from the iPhone or iCloud, please? If the iPhone storage is smaller than the full picture file sizes, the full files are stored on iCloud and not on the phone ("optimized" on iPhone to allow for the small storage model to show everything)? If the Galaxy has 256 GB and iPhone had 64 GB, one would want the full files, not the small ones. Is this like a full backup, or does it only transfer a few things such as contacts, pictures but not videos, files? Text message histories? Basically everything except account data, Apple Pay, etc.? Thank you! If this does not work, can a USB A to USB C flash drive fetch a backup from iCloud (not iTunes) on an old Mac and then upload it on the Galaxy? PS Miss the s10e, the only mid-size phone Samsung has made to my knowledge. Bigger than the original iPhone SE and iPhone mini but virtually the size of the iPhone 6-SE 3rd gen.
