She did a beautiful job and now it looks like a sew in. I have a lace front it’s my first time and I cut the lace perfectly put it had that super straight line on the front that looks unnatural. Thanks for helping out newbies like me!

I’m so mad I told my mom at the store today we don’t need dry shampoo bc its gon dry our hair, but my dumbass been looking for something to matte my Ali hair 🙄🙄

Oh yea definitely get a good quality dry shampoo for a synthetic unit. Some brands leave a white cast on the hair and this can be a big issue.

Just remember to cut a small triangle and get a concealer that matches your scalp.

@@Itstrulyams hi, both actually… styling your wig with hair accessories 🙂… like hair claws, and there is this rectangular hair packer, I’m not sure what people call it though, but the pony tail goes into it and it has iron in it to kind of bend the whole material and hair (on SHEIN it’s plain hair accessory🤔)❤️

Would you do the triangle cut on a human hair wig?

The best time to cut the triangle part is when there’s no lace at the front of the wig. If the human hair unit was made similar to this synthetic one in this video then yes I would.

Hi. How do you keep it from getting tangled/matted? I bought a synthetic wig off Amazon. I got my money back because it came tangled. I couldn't untangle it for the life of me.

Most synthetic hair after awhile can possible get tangled. Especially if it’s exposed to moisture. However, if yours came tangled/matted then I would’ve definitely sent it back too.

You have to keep it brushed out but if the tangled get to rough then I suggest discarding it because it will eventually become matted

Using oil is a tip I took from someone and it help. Just a little bit on my bond lol from olaplex but I’m sure any oil would work.

Oh no, definitely can’t dye a synthetic unit. Only can dye human hair.

Yes, I’ve done this to 4 of my other synthetic units as well months ago. Cutting a very small triangle prevents the lace from tearing/expanding as fast. Don’t cut it as big as the triangle I showed at first because you will have to do more to blend with your scalp.

So how does it stay on your head? Do you use the combs? I know with lace you use bonding but lace fronts aren’t my thing and I want to experiment with wigs but I don’t know much about them

I tighten the straps and sometimes I install a band. So that way it won’t slip at all! Also, a tacky adhesive spray like Ebin will keep it in place as well just spray a small amount in the front and let it get tacky first before applying the wig.
