How long do you leave the bleach on the shirt

I left it in the sun until I got the desired effect. The sun really ramped the process up. It wasn’t more than 20-30 minutes. Than I hung it on the line in the shade to dry than threw it in the wash.

You can Google there are things you can spray on it to stop the process.I just can’t remember off the top of my head and don’t want to tell you wrong.
