sounds really good. I think that spoke more to you then the purple one did, even though the purple looked better in my opinion. great video as always. your a lot better then you think lol, plus your leads are a lot better, plus lead is hard when your solo, and not in a mix.

Dang! Man Dave - that guitar is killer! Looks sikk... and sounds pretty darn good, too. I'm not hearing you complain at all about playability, and didn't look like it was a struggle at all. Shoot. I might have to add this one to the maybe list. I dig it! I've been binging tho, here lately. So I might need to hit the brakes, and come back up for air. LOL But this is killer!

It seems that these are made in the same factory as the Fender Squires. From the videos I've watched, they seem to have a lot of the same gear, except this has more, and nicer woods. Overall, I'm liking this better than the new Squire.

Hey, watched both reviews you had so far, I got the blue and sunburst models. Fret ends a little rough on both, but II bought a 90, 35 degree block and small file for fret ends and should not be a problem. The whammy bar tail piece on the sun burst - I had to screw in the two counter screws (in the back) quite a ways in. Much different on the blue. I like the neck and the feel, I don't have large hands and the neck is very comfortable. With my level of playing, I think the pups are fine, but wonder what it might cost to get a better tail piece installed on both - not sure if I could do it myself.. Any thoughts one might have? KEEP THE GOOD STUFF COMING WITH THE HUMOR - THE LAUGHS ARE GOOD FOR MY SOUL! i guess your first name is Dave, I was named after Davy Crockett, how about you? THANKS for the wisdom!!!

Im sure this guitar nice but for an extra hundred bucks you can get a pretty nice used Ibanez RGA42fm. My nephew has one and theyre pretty damn nice. But if you don't have that extra 100 bucks this might be a killer guitar

That's beautiful! I'd call it charcoal black, because it is exactly the same look as my PRS SE Paul's guitar, and my SE 24 Floyd, and that's what they call it. Looks really good! Can't wait to hear it! (And NOT your foul F**CK*NG MOUTH! GET HIM SKULLY!)

The problem with the frets on the one I returned was there there were deep dents under the A and especially the G string, from frets 13-17. Unplayable, could not bend in these spots. Also edges were very sharp. Oh, and all the pickups except for the bridge were dark and muddy. Don't get it.

Well, I just received an Epiphone SG which is nearly flawless. Perfect setup, beautiful fit and finish, great sounding pickups. I received my blue Fesley DK 800 yesterday, and I was excited when I opened it. However...dents in the frets, especially at the B string from frets 13-17, practically unplayable. Same on the A string, from frets 13-15. Frets are also very sharp on the edges. These things will have to be addressed, they're that bad. Once you leave the bridge pickup, all the other setting are dark and muddy. Strings are awful, which I did expect. I don't think I can file these frets and fix the problems, since they are actually dented in. I don't think I'm going to re-order, but just return it. very disappointed. And I am not a guitar brand snob, at all, I don't care what it says on the headstock. It's just a really bad fret job, and pickup are not good. The controls don't even do what the website says. There is no tone for the bridge pickup. It's going back.

You can be the next eddie van halen if you keep practicing the tapping skillz,bones is amazing! He needs the nut fixed first thou and that's coming monday,considering the qc was bad to begin with when they cut the nut at the factory,these cheap guitars just get banged out to the sellers and don't take the time to make the customer happy,they have to pay to make the guitar right w their dollar,the customer shouldnt have to do that,if that did happen? The customer would recommend the guitar and then they would be flying off the shelves,swapping out the stock "grovers" to real ones soon and taking steel wool to the back of the neck after the nut is fixed w a real bone nut,and changing the strings cuz theyre borderline rusty w some dunlops and goin to tune him down a whole step,then I'm goin to piss off the neighbors lol,have a good week dave and rock hard

I honestly can't understand why companies try to compete with the name brands... Not because some (and I mean some) of these off brands don't make good instruments, but because as a sound guy for 27 years and a musician for 43, I just have no respect for an artist playing a total cheap pos like this when a few hundred more can get you a name brand that will be something to be proud of owning for many years.

I understand what your saying..as you said "some" of them..there are a select few that are not really that bad..if nothing else you can get a solid mod platform out of them..honestly wish that these types of Guitars were around when I started playing 35 years ago..Lol I started on a pos harmony acoustic with the strings a half inch off the fretboard..then you had the Sears special type guitars that wouldn't stay in tune if you just looked at it. But these Guitars for beginners have it so Much nicer these days..if I was just starting out or buying a 1st guitar for my kid because he or she wants to play I wouldn't spend 5 or $600 to find out he loses interest. I have a lot of Higher end Guitars..a few have been worse than a budget friendly Guitar of these days. I totally respect you opinion Man..and hats of for being a sound guy for 27 years..Lol wish I would have done something with my life..my daughter is actually going to college to become a Music/sound producer..she love it so far..Rock On Bro 😎🤘🍻

No need to be Sorry Man..I have several other name Brands that cost alot 💰💰💰 as well..Whats funny is some of these $200 to 300 inexpensive guitars are just as good as a $600 or $700 name brand guitars with less issues..I hear though Epiphone has been in my arsenal for 30+ years actually have about 10 Epis..these days the Epis quality are on par with some Gibsons..Thanks for Watching Bro

So you like mid tier guitars that are priced like top tier guitars. Gotcha. Gibsons snap head stocks and fenders dont stay in tune. Good luck buddy. I wont bash you as a person but those brands are way over hyped. When fender guitars come from the factory with neck pocket cracks and guitar center wont buy them cracked. Theres something fishy going on.

@@trevorwilkins1796 the same can be said for my experience with new gibsons though. Theyre not even US made anymore. Ive bought 150 dollar jacksons that play and feel better than my 2000 dollar gibson. Honestly idc as long as you know what to look for in brands then you should be fine but more often than not people just see givson on the headstock and buy then are disappointed because its got cheaped out hardware. Not to mention the tuning issues i have had out of gibson and any of there off brands like epiphone and maestro. Just too much cash for something that has a chance of being crap. Ill agree most gibsons are great but there is a chance you can spend upwards of 5 grand and get a crap guitar. It all depends on who made it on what day. I would just go to say. Dont order guitars. Go to the shops and handle them and play them then buy.
