Transparency. Humility. Helping your fellow barbers learn from you when you perform in a stellar fashion and learn from you when you have an 'off' day. Those are the signs of an honorable man. Keep doing your thing and transforming people in the manner that you do. Peace and God bless. By the way, he looked 100% better than when he first sat down in the chair.

A SECRET that most people don’t know: Barbering is one of THE most difficult industries to stay afloat in. Can be one of the most stressful and unforgiving. It almost requires you to be perfect every time (especially in the black community). I never faulted a barber when my hairline or fade was not the best because they’re human at the end of the day!🤷🏾‍♂️
@TarellHudson
@TarellHudson 2 жыл бұрын
It’s how they handle it when they mess up. If you Jack me up, then comp the cut or at least have me come back for a courtesy cut next time. Hair grows back but honor and customer service are forever. I’ve had barbers leave me uneven with patches and when I point it out, they insist that’s how my hair grows like I ain’t never had a cut before. Refuse to fix it and still demand full price. I pay without tip and then never go back. But my actual barber isn’t always perfect. And I’m forgiving because I know he’s human. He gets mad at me if I don’t come every two weeks. Told me if it’s a financial problem, dont worry. He’ll take care of me and my sons regardless. That’s love right there and I’m a forever customer.

@D Because he doesn’t like that we come wolfed out when he could have kept us presentable. He’d rather we stayed looking good and pay later than for us to come in looking like we was out in the fields.

Love this!! When harvesting the hair, lay it flat on a towel. Once the glue is prepped and ready, apply the harvested hair. Allow to dry then use your clippers to trim it down, going with the grain as if your cleaning up a wave pattern. There are no such thing as mistakes when we learn from them. Excellent recovery!! 💪🏽❤️

I I cannot count the amount of times that I am complimented and inquired about my short hair, particularly the women in our community who are accustomed to commercial hair. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Great recover & transparency! Not a barber but a nurse and we make mistakes as well no one is perfect and we should always own up to it. My hairstylist years ago messed up a first time color and tried to tell me it was purple. I wanted blue but my hair turned green and he fixed it by making it red. What upset me the most is that he did not even discount me or just own up to his mistake in front of his other clients. Needless to say after years of going to him, I stopped. We as nurses make mistakes and it means a possible life or an adverse consequence. We are all responsible for our actions and should take all mistakes as learning lessons. I enjoy watching you transform rugged at times to HOT. Keep up the great work, stay great and blessed.💕

Man I have never seen a you tube barber mess up. And for you to still post it says a million things. First off I’d like to say thank you. Being in the industry for 2 years I have dealt with all the negativity and hate from others in the industry. I come to KZfaq to find motivational barber videos to start my day. And this is definitely one of them. There are times where we come to a cut that we are thrown out of our element and showing that you make mistakes makes me feel more human. Thank you so much my guy. When you in the industry by yourself. It’s easy to get out down. But like I said seeing videos like this seeing other barber ls struggle when they h e mastered the technique makes me feel better when someone gets in my chair and I feel overwhelmed 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

How can anybody hate... Look at the before and after. Thank you for showing yourself in the process of learning as well as teaching. People hardly ever wanna show how they got to where they are, they just wanna glorify their mastery. Good looking beam! 💪🏿😎

Amazing recovery. I woulda added a lil bit of hair all the way across between the two points just to get the same coloration all the way across once he showers and what not. but i’m excited to see him come back and get his next cut
