@@Transit0422and that’s not even getting into how The Fallen is practically the robot version of Nyarlathotep in his “Black Pharaoh” form. I think a lot of Bayverse designs ended up being underrated in general due to the fact that some of the different characters weren’t distinguished from each other super well onscreen, as well as the fact that the films were rather poorly written to begin with. As a side note, I’d still like to know why all the best designs and alt-modes seemed to go to the Decepticons in those films, especially considering that the toy lines for the films had a bit more variety in the characters introduced.

Now usually I never ever thought as bay verse designs as scary and I genuinely liked and believe they are cool. But when I think about it, imagine seeing deceptions like driller, shockwave and the fallen. It would be horrifying

I'd actually love that. If only Sentinel Prime and Megs won on dotm, they could've enslaved the humans, breed them, and even use their bones and organs as additional materials to build part metal, flesh and bone transformers, like an uno reverse to what KSI did with the Cybertronians in aoe

After lockdown Lost his Life to the alternate, lockdown's alternate meets prowl and fights him. Lockdown's alternate Lost to prowl After he had a chance to cut his head, prowl uses lockdown's ship To go to earth and encounters yet again, another alternate but this time It was blurr's alternate fighting the original blurr and prowl uses a Fusion cannon to end the alternate. After prowl and blurr Land to earth, They meet jetfire, now they ask "why theres alternate versions of ourself's?" Jetfire responds "the quintensons might be behind this" And then they meet Hot Rod, as since Hot Rod joined the surviving autobots, they encounter yet again, another alternate but this time It was wheeljack but before It could even Attack, wheeljack brutaly kills him with a sticky grenade.

I'm not so sure they're maximals, while yes the maximals fit the description of the alternates, they're no exactly murderous like the alternates (although this is the bayverse so I wouldn't be surprised) but there is another group that fits the description perfectly, and are well known murderers, the predacons, heck they even have they're own version of megatron

@@simply0spidey doesnt make sense to be maximals or predacons. In almost every continuity featuring them they are just the future factions of cybertronians. The "organic" is an outershell meant to protect from radiation on prehistoric earth. Maximals on cybertron don't have this organic feature as they never had a need to. I feel like pretenders are something closer, given that they are cybertronians pretending to be organic beings, maybe its like the reverse? If we want to go deeper into transformers lore, something like the Destructons are more fitting considering they are organic/ mechanical creatures that are just pure evil.

Ngl, just like Godzilla people tend to forget that being a regular six something feet tall, feeble mortal human caught in a war of gigantic robots or gargantuan monsters would make you shit so much bricks you could build a factory. Like, imagine being a poor Chicagoan when a big ass death machine with red eyes and a spiky demonic look is searching for you. Personally i think it's the Gobots rather than Maximals/Predacons because in their fiction they were originally organic, turned into cyborgs and finally upgrading their robot bodies to have "alt-modes". There's also other official fiction that influenced my idea: 1._ in the gobots comic Road Ranger (a coincidentally red and blue flatnose truck) is shown building something and he says its "A son. like me, but better. An *optimized* version of myself". 2._the fact that gobots incorporated into the Transformers universe have bodies identical to existing transformers (biggest example being bumblebee and bugbite). 3._ They were actually released before Transformers

I kinda wished maybe the Analog horror for transfomers took a different route of the story. Maybe instead of having a copy of a bot and just evil, maybe the idea would've been a discovered "Deception" force that invaded earth. And then these bots take this weird form (like the dog like bots from TFdotm) and they have this telepathic way of communicating. Humans discover their way of communication, only to see their horrific plans of what they'll do to mankind and the rest of the universe. The autobots could then figure out that these aren't normal bots that were built by their creators, instead, were built by a new enemy, an enemy that's not Unicron (this is what I'd much rather see) And then we see these horrific clips of them brutally killing people with their teeth and claws, and even horrific clips of decaying autobots. Since these bots have a toxic saliva that turns metal into rust (Yes just like what happened to Ironhide). And 1 more thing. Just a cool thing to add, when Megatron ripped Jazz apart in TF1, it'll show a disturbing picture of that dog-like bot, ripping out Jazzs spark and eating his insides... My apologies for the essay comment, I just like getting detailed 😂

I want to add as well something similar can be seen in the transformers prime series. I haven’t watched the episode in a while, nor the series in a while, but I believe it may have been caused by a virus or some weird energon, but it basically turns into like zombie things with metal tongues. It just seems a bit similar, considering they don’t talk at all once they are turned.

Not a bad theory! It would be cool if Mandela catalogue alternates were crossing over with the bay-formermers. It's obvious that this analog series is inspired by the Mandela catalogue, the only reason I don't think that might be the case is the story and timing of the Mandela catalogue. You can go and check it out urself, but basically, demons or just evil otherworldly beings infiltrate society In, I think 70's? That's when the series is happening but they were there from the birth of Jesus. Everything started when instead of god being born as a human (Jesus) something/someone else did. And it's very creepy to think about

Eh this seems kinda recycled. It sounds too much like a DBZ horror thing I heard of a year or so ago, and I still thought that was sort of a meh concept. While your theory of the doppelgangers being quintesson technorganics that would evolve into maximals and predicons is cool, i don't think that's what they're going for otherwise i think there'd be more references to beast wars.

The reason I like it is exactly what you said, it's the Mandela catalogue for transformers. Although I do agree it is a bit disappointing, since there's a lot of creepy stuff one can do with the transformers just based on the fact that they are otherworldly creatures themselves

Problem with doppelgangers are if ur gonna doppelgang someone like shockwave you better have the brains to do it because otherwise hes gonna outsmart you same for brawl and onslaught and or Megatron they'll beat you down makes sense that Optimus and lockdown would most likely lose whilst the Decepticons are well trained and most are aggressive as hell especially demolisher.
