Lugnut is basically the anti-starscream. Starscream turns into a sleek fighter jet, Lugnut turns into a bulky bomber. Starscream is somewhat intelligent, Fast and Crafty, but is an opportunistic backstabber. Lugnut is obsessively loyal and physically strong, But stupid and slow. Starscream is a franchise mainstay, Lugnut really only appears in animated outside of a few toys and comics Lugnut really needs to be in more stuff

I agree. Also some designs of him outside Animated makes him kinda look skinny a bit. If he shows up in the legacy toy line, I hope he gets more bulk. I hope we can see more of this loyal one eyed Megatron fanboy (technically five but you get it lol)

Fun Fact: Lugnut is voiced by David Kye who voiced both Optimus Prime and Grimlock in this same show, and was best know as Megatron from Beast Wars.

Lugnut is such a cool addition to the Decepticon cast. I'm honestly surprised that Hasbro and IDW didn't bring him back as a mainstay character and expanded upon him.

Fr fr. I wish more tf series used them. I'm glad we got clobber in cyberverse, so he's not exactly forgotten or anything, but Lugnut was always meant to be half a comedy duo. I NEED to see another three faced Blitzwing hanging out with him. Maybe in Earthspark.

That first time we get to see the "Punch Of Kill Everything" is still a thing of beauty. I love how flustered he gets and so we're hit with him in seeming desperation transforming his hand into the classic "don't press" button and elbow rocket propelling his fist into the ground, potentially damaging even himself in his zealotry as the explosive flash and fade leaves uncertainty to the break. Whoever came up with this outrageous and amazing signature of Lugnut deserves a "well done." 🍻

It's definitely different, almost certainly they recorded the script for the opening three parter/movie at a different time before the rest of the first season. It's possible they hadn't even truly cast Lugnut for that since he only has the one line really. Perhaps they later decided to have David do the character full time 🤷‍♂️

Gosh dude, Lugnut is so dang powerful! I just love the way he just transformed his arm and punched the ground to a huge explosion around him and not even damaging Lugnut even once, at all. To make the Decepticons feel much more threatening and intimidating as villains. You can see this done to many other Decepticons throughout the show. Personally, I love the size difference, it makes them intimidating and pretty cool; also, half of them turn into some big vehicles too, so it makes sense.

@@ethanhayes9362 Another neat thing is that the Autobots are in bright primary colors (plus green and white), and the Decepticons are in dark secondary colors (plus gray); it's a nice visual distinction between the two sides.
