I remember, I rented the first movie after it came out on dvd. I watched it with a friend of mine, and we got about 40 minutes in before we were both wanted to turn it off. I went with another friend of mine, to see the second movie when it came out in theaters. once again we got about 40 minutes in before we both got sick of it, and decided to walk out. and then the third movie came out and.... are you fucking kidding? ain't no way I'm about to spend another cent on this fucking franchise!

I will now have nightmares tonight about a Beastwars adaptation.

That last comment about a GOOD Transformers movie is what I've been saying for years; if big action scenes, explosions, and robots fighting is enough to pacify those who liked these movies, how would the experience be lessened if it was combined with the good filmmaking sensibilities that everyone else who hated them wanted to see?

@Bobzeaux best example i heard a while ago is Return of the Jedi. as the third movie in a trilogy, it was able to make me care about the characters we were introduced too, the hole action sequence made me care about everyone that was introduced to me in the first two, Luke, Leia, Han, Lando and the missions they were on. the movie even made me care about Vader more than just ''he is the cool villain'' he died and it was sad, even blowing up R2 got to me this time.

The sad thing is that the old Transformers Armada cartoon had more well developed characters and solid plotlines than this whole trilogy

I really did enjoy this movie and Sam Witwicky played by Shia LaBeouf he did a great job in this movie and he was awesome as this character too and he is a good actor too and Carly Witwicky played by Rosie Huntington Whiteley she did a amazing job in this movie and she was way better than Megan Fox too and she is so sexy as hell and gorgeous too and I’m a fan of her now love her to death bro and Colonel Williams Lennox played by Josh Duhamel he did a great job too and he was awesome in this movie too like he did in the previous movies and same goes for Robert Epps played by Tyrese Gibson he did a great job too in this movie and he was awesome in this movie but he was barley in it though and Dylan played by Patrick Dempsey he did a great job in this movie and he was awesome as the main villain human in this movie and he was badass too bro and Megatron played by Hugo Weaving he did a great job too but he barely in this movie and he just waste too in this movie and I wanted to see more of his character too in this one and such a waste of a good villain too and Simmons played by John Turturro he did a amazing job too but he barely in this movie but when he was on screen he did a good job in this movie and he is a good actor too and I remember seeing this movie with my mom at the movie theater when I was a sophomore not a junior yet but almost and I sure do missed those good old days too and I can’t believe it’s been 12 years since this movie came out and time sure does flies in the movie world that’s for damn sure bro and overall I’m gonna give Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon (2011) a 8.5/10 stars I did enjoy this movie but it could of been little bit better to see Megatron not waste in this film and have the movie be little longer too but that just me though in my opinions and thoughts on this movie Spill Audio bro

@Jman92854 There are concepts that would be hard to make into a movie, but Transformers has been told in good stories, it's been done previous with the movie and tv shows that spinned off from the original show. Michael Bay could had done a good movie, or at least one that didn't insult people's intelligence, he chose not to. And I really hate when people say "You were expecting too much from it", is it such a crime to expect a good movie? Is it wrong to have expectations?

@Jman92854 They can't get over it, they're critics, it is their job not to get over it, that's why they have the job, and people should be able to criticize stuff, not just blindly accept what Hollywood offers, that's having standards.

@Bobzeaux i have always had the believe that the original shows and comics found a way out of the ''toy commercial'' stigma forced on it by Hasbro very quickly thanks to the writers who wanted it to be more. then these movies come round and shit on everything they accomplished. the excuse to turn of your brain is just a clear sign of how crap these movies are, if they were good we would not need to. that last set piece was good? no good action has a build up so we care about the characters.

This is some old bullshit, but it's still better than the last piece of shit movie. I liked the part with the building at the end. It was a clever idea, and I liked how they pulled it off. If only the acting and story could be as good as the FX, these would be better than Star Wars. Alas, Michael Bay can't help but get in his own way. I don't think his direction is bad, it's just misguided. I feel the same way about Tyler Perry. His intentions are good, but his methods are what undermine his message.

I did love the movie but I did think some of the humor in it wasn't really good for kids I mean it was a transformers movie. They could have explained where some of em came from like Shockwave. But overall I think this was the best one followed by the first the 2nd wasn't that great.

But since we're talking about respect and opinions, I have problems dealing with movies with racial steriotypes and women's objectification, like this movie has. Also is boring, and as usual, the focus is not the Transformers.
