Little of option A, a little of option B.... Sometimes I manually transform, sometimes I just know which attacks turn you back to robot or dino. You can also control it. If you hold the transformation button you swap which one happens. So if a move will automatically transform you to robot on hit, holding the button keeps you in dino mode, and vice versa.

Anyway, I wanted to mention about the uppercut is that you can cancel it instantly into his air grab. You don't actually have to jump. +Saur Oh and since you are moving onto grimlock, here's a buncha tricks I know. His air grab in robot form (throw down) does aoe damage to everyone below him. I am unsure if this also works in his dino form air grab. The hammer half charge and full charge attacks can set up a throw. He has front and back versions of all his throws except, I think, the standard robot form one. His dino one for example has "swing and slam" from the front and "pick up from the back and chew on them while you hammer the B button". He can air throw in dino form (he does a piledriver, it's hilarious). Doing his dodge to grab basically requires you to commit to it ahead of time. Unlike reversal the window is extremely small. You also need to be close enough to them and they have to be in robot form. However it can't be dodged by enemies unlike reversal and it has humongous i frames. When surrounded it is possible to spam this to focus on doing damage to a single enemy, just dodge grab pile drive them over and over. Both his robot form command grab and his dino form command grab (pressing the button to do it instead of the B button when prompted) can cancel certain attack animations. It can't cancel vehicle attack and rush attacks. You can even cancel reversal with it, although half the time when I do this they dodge it IN focus, which is kinda annoying. The robot form grab can be directed with the left stick. You can do a little circle with them if you want, or drag them in a specific direction. I use this to get out of corners and reposition myself or move my enemies where I want them. I also use it to get out of packs. I have actually seen this grab dodge through moves if used after a vehicle attack in a combo, so I am pretty sure it gets the same bonus as hitting enemies does. He can do the vanquish shoot dodge, but only when he is in trex form. I have no idea why this is so. I cannot get it to happen in robot form. Sadly, you can't seem to dodge offset his trex combos. Pressing B and then the rush button lets him instant rush from a standing start. You can chain light rush over and over using this and do ridiculous damage to enemies in a very short amount of time. His shove in dino form (belly flop) guarantees a vehicle attack, even on open ground, even if it whiffs. As opposed to the same move done from instant rush (heavy rush attack). Pretty sure I've told you the stuff about rushes, just being comprehensive. I think that's everything.

random drop like all other weapons. i got mine from challenge 1 clear reward.

+Deadpool yep then you double their max level and unlock magnus difficulty for challenges and story. you get better weapon drops on magnus. final unlock of max level is prime.
