This supposed to be prequel of prime. As much as I respect prime, this was so much more mature in many level. And the fact they created shit ton of plot hole like sound wave came back and Starscream still in decepticon which were two biggest plot hole for aligned continuity. Bee is the youngest autobot and Optimus sees him as a son, he got to experience war in a young age and going through multiple suicide missions that no autobot could pull off for the sake of helping his friends especially Optimus

Canadian Gamer I think that goes into how stylized it is. Because they went with a solid shape and color 80s aesthetic while subtly combining it with animation and design from the Bay movies it helps keep the graphics timeless and looking great instead of realistic.

What makes them different, what makes them more than just lifeless machines, is their spark; the physical manifestation of a transformer's soul, all that they are. And if a body looses too much power or sustains too much damage...the spark winks out, like the last flames of a candle. For a bot as big as Metroplex, a literal city's worth of energon was needed just to sustain him. He gave that up for the Autobot cause, and paid the ultimate price.

RIOTER 0000 I agree it doesn’t make all sense, but it does coincide with the events of fall of cybertron because the levels on cybertron were supposed to be in the fall of cybertron game, but for some strange reason they weren’t. Also I don’t understand how the age of extinction story line had any connection to fall of cybertron because while playing the cybertron missions in ROTDS I never once saw anything about the dark spark so to say. Of course it’s been a couple years since I played it so I could be wrong, but yes you’re right it doesn’t make all the sense in the world but it’s still considered the true third installment because it does go back to cybertron.

Frederick X. To be fair, Transformers Prime was a cartoon that usually aired early in the morning, so it had to restrain itself to be appropriate for its target audience of kids. If it aired mainly at night and was more for teens and adults, then it could have potentially been more like this. But for what it was, Prime was a good show. And for what this is, this is a GREAT game.

But aren’t Shockwave and Starscream dead in this game? Also Bumblebee?

@@masturch33f66 No, Shockwave gets roughed up by Grimlock but is very much alive, while Starscream gets imprisoned for backstabbing Megatron yet again (What did anyone expect? 😅) and the player gets to play him escaping and blowing up stuff in a neat stage. As for Bumblebee, we end on a cliffhanger so impossible to really say, but odds are everyone survives and they crash on Earth.

It’s not leading into G1, if you knew anything about G1 you’ll know that dinobots don’t exist yet, and megatron doesn’t have that stupid form where he turns into a gun, this leads into transformers prime

@@chino19963 The dinobots didn't exist yet.. in the cartoon. They were never built on Earth in the comics. And inconsistency and Transformers go hand in hand, even in the same media. But this Grimlock is a clear G1 inspiration, while the More Than Meets the Eye Grimlock is radically different. In general, the look and feel of the game is more G1 than Aligned. I consider this a G1 game, canon be damned.
