Sure. I tend to check out people's channels if they're active on the channel, or seem like they may be interesting. However, I'm very picky on what I subscribe to, and I just don't watch every kind of video just because someone asked me to. Same goes for shout-outs, I cannot fairly shout-out somebody for no reason other than they asked, it would be unfair to anyone else who were to ask and I would be unable to do so. A shoutout from me will not gain you much viewership or subscribers.

I’m a TF fan but I cannot get into the g1 stuff. I actually had them when I was a kid and didn’t enjoy them. The newer stuff, excluding the Bayformer stuff, from RID on to Siege is so much more fun. The old blocky figures just don’t compare past nostalgia. And Siege is pretty solid overall as a line. The Alien/space element of the alt modes seems to be hit or miss with fans/folks who buy stuff but it’s thematically correct. Spaceships and weird car type things are what populates Cybertron. I think you’re being waaaay too hard on the alt mode...same goes for soooo many other folks on the old KZfaq o doom. Either way, I dig your reviews man. I can tell you love your figures and you should if you’re gonna make vids. Keep it up!

I agree I think he is just kinda hating on the alt mode also many people like the wfc soundwave but people don't want to say they like the toy because he doesn't like the wfc Soundwave, because people don't want to disagree with him. But still keep up the great videos 👌.

He's not. There are good Cybertronian alternate modes. This is not one of them. It doesn't look like anything and doesn't look cool on it's own either.

The flying rectangle alt mode is a smack in the face to TRUE Soundwave fans. I’m a die hard G1 Transformers fan.

Soundwave and Jetfire were my favorite G1 figures as well when I was a kid. And they both still hold up today for articulation as well.

Iirc the gun fired the missile in the Japanese release and the initial US release of G1 Soundwave, but due to US safety regulations, they changed it to a release rather than a full on spring loaded missile launcher

The second gun for wfc soundwave looks like a real gun barrel, i think it’s supposed to be for megatrons back You can also put it with the hammer battle master to have an extended hammer handle

Jc, the gun not working is just due to safety standards changing in the early 90s. It probably doesn't have a spring inside.

I found the cassette tray to be a bit fragile on my figure. The second day I had him the cassette tray was stuck shut because of buzzsaw and I had to pry it open leaving stress marks in the tray.

I'm glad that they put all that ugly "battle damage" paint on this guy. If they hadn't, I might have actually bought one just to have a decent (in robot mode) Soundwave figure. However, the "damage" made me hold off, and now I've got the Netflix retool that actually transforms into a tape player and is overall superior (heh heh) in pretty much every way to this one. Plus I already had the "cyber-van" version from the original War for Cybertron line, so I've already got a decent Cybertronian-mode Soundwave. He's just a bit small.

You can convert Siege Soundwave into a kind of cybertronian communication deck. 🙂 It’s a fan-mode, but I think it works!

You gotta pop his arms off to do it tho right? I can't roll with that. lol And my complaint isn't that he doesn't transform into a tape deck, it's that what he does transform into is really lame and doesn't feel like Soundwave to me.

You’d have to do that to get the more traditional tape deck, but the mode I actually mean is this one: soundwavesiege11.jpg It’s more cybertronian-looking, and I view it as a type of machine for transmitting and receiving communications, and for hacking enemy airwaves. Have you seen the Shockwave’s Lab upgrade kit for siege Soundwave? I know you’re not big into 3rd party but it makes a slider for the arms that lets you fan mode him into his tape deck mode. Also covers the gaps on his arms.

Want your soundwave to turn into a cassette player, they do make an upgrade kit for siege soundwave, on eBay shockwave labs made this kit it will change your mind about siege soundwave, your gonna love this kit you’ll love the results, l’m not kidding you won’t believe your eyes.

I love how you can pose the siege sound wave with his finger on the button to open his chest and I also put laserbeak standing on his open chest to look like he is flying out of it. Siege sound wave also has a fan mode cassette mode too I don’t like the ship or lamppost mode ether so he will forever be in robot mode

You gotta either get a third party upgrade or pop off his arms to get him in a cassette player mode... so that's pretty meh. Surprised they didn't work it in... I'm sure they could have. Like with Siege Shockwave, sure he's a battleship or whatever now, but flip him over and he's basically his gun again.

It's what we shoulda gotten in the first place! I missed pre-ordering it, so fingers crossed I can find it in stores! Usually Walmart exclusive Transformers aren't hard to get, so I should be alright. Should. Hopefully.

Fall of Cybertron and War for Cybertron. Nothing else comes close. Play the story modes back to back. You won’t be sorry.

To be honest I’d rather my transformer turn into a shitty ship than a cassette player any day. A cassette player I just so useless and lame to me. And I would also rather have a highly articulated awesome robot mode than the g1 sound wave. That’s just my opinion. How I see transformers is just action figure. I don’t need the alternative mode. Because I’d rather play with a robot than a plane or car.

I just find it weird that he turns into a cassette player. Honestly I see transformers as any other action figure. Except they transform.
