I think you misstransformed the legs. The waist shouldn't turn around but the hips, so there is less kibble to see. Still good video.

To be fair, the toys for Beast Wars 2 and Neo were notorious for kibble. Felt like more than half of the toys were shell formers. I still have trouble transforming the horse one

Kitty convoy!

An original Lio Convoy is pretty much my number 1 holy grail in transformers collecting, so I was ecstatic when this was announced (in the same wave as Tarn!). With the figure I’m hand, I’m really impressed, and have a have had a nonstop smile on my face since I opened the box.

The tail!!! Flip the tail in for robot mode!!! 😂 He’s a fantastic figure! I still have my original Lio Convoy and the transformation is a definite improvement.

They need to release Beast Wars Neo, Beast Wars 2 and 2000s Robots in Disguise on DVD 📀

We really need that Polar Claw now. Lions and Tigers and Bears!

I think we also need his son Lio Junior as a Core Class Combiner into Magna Boss.

It's nice to see a figure I'd this guy that isint a repaint of some other lion for once. Lio deserves that respect. Hopefully we can get more Japanese beasts after him....or at least Big Convoy to complete the beast cartoon trio.

Man, what I wouldn't give for a modern remake of Magmatron. Anything less than commander class just wouldn't do him justice, considering his beast mode is actually comprised of 3 separate prehistoric creatures. Each beast housed a weapon for him and could even combine to form a sort of "chimera mode".

I think this figure is overall pretty great. I just wish the lion's face wasn't so bland, and didn't have just dead, plain yellow eyes, especially when you compare it to the box-art, it just looks way more awesome, vicious, and badass. But at least you can still replicate its silly, but cool mane missile gimmick from the original toy!

We did get the original Magmatron back in the day with Beast Machines' subline of Dinobots. He was a Target exclusive as I remember though, but he was physically available in the states for a time. Don't remember why I didn't search him out more though... Missed opportunities... Also, that Majin Zarak likely won't be a Haslab until after the Haslab that's done for the 40th anniversary of the franchise, but it might get done, considering that Victory Saber and Deathsaurus were highly successful Haslabs. They know we want the Japanese characters, it's just a matter of time at this point. (A new Big Convoy/Maximus Prime I would hope gets a Leader or Commander Class release to give us much of the toy's original gimmicks as possible, and gets a Selects release for the mold as Ultra Mammoth who was released in the Figure Subscription Service. I have the original FSS Ultra Mammoth, I love it, but the translucent plastic in that thing does worry me for its long term survival...)

When you put him in beast mode, his back legs, you don't rotate his hips around. It doesn't show that in the directions. Just wanted to let you know

Will look great in Nemesis Breaker or Thundertron colors. I wonder if they will remold any of it, particularly the Lion face(to look more menacing)?

Imagine if they do Big Convoy or Ultra Mammoth... I want to buy these figures. Sadly, they just don't seem to be available in my part of (my) country.

One of the easiest pass in Legacy. Even compared to the pics Balt showed, this dude has double the kibble of what it should have! The kibble compression is horrible and, boy oh boy, that lion head is straight up dead! Of course 3Ps are gonna come out with upgrade kits for that, but a figure should be good WITHOUT the need for upgrade kits. One last thing... Yes! Please give us a Magmatron!

My main problem besides the lion legs on the ugly king red ball joint strip but I can forgive it one thing I can over look but don’t like is the leg mushroom slide in connection thing is ugily on the outside of the leg and not inside like most figs also the back lion dose not peg in in robot mode

Been watching beast wars 2 since getting Leo Convoy and I have to say , he is one of the few characters I actually like from the show and I would never thought it was possible but the Japanese made a combiner group called the joinitors that are more racist than skids and mudflap from rotf but what do you expect from a show that was filler for the Japanese at until they got the other two season of beast wars .

Lio had kibble, but not that much kibble. While the original fault lies with the original design of the character, does not excuse the current figure. This just seems lazy. Even in and I grimace at how phoned-in it seems.
