When Travis Knight took over to direct Bumblebee, they were unsure whether the movie should be a prequel. However, after the success of the movie, it was confirmed to be the first entry of a reboot series.

Wow so what can we expect from this new Transformers movie then ? 1. Hot girl who will make out in the sun with our main lead. 2. Overwhelming number of CGI robot fighting 3. Decepticons wanting to turn Earth to Cybertron (ugh, get a life already losers) 4. Main characters running around with the plot-thingy. Looks good to me

The first movie was awesome. Dark of the Moon was strangely violent seeing Megatron and that old dude die in horrible ways. Optimus is seriously demented.

I know that this series of movies have slowly fallen out since part 4 but I'll be lying if I didn't enjoyed them back when I was a kid and an avid fan of Transformers. Looks like I have something to binge watch for the weekends.

I only hope that when I'm about to die and my life flashes before my eyes.. Its recapped by the man of recaps.

I have never seen nor intended to see any of these films, but watching MoR knock them out in a few minutes was a pleasure.

It's crazy how millions went watching all these movies where the recap is basically the same and the script can hold on one page 😅 Transformers fighting in 1h CGI you can't understand while humans run around with the quest object they also dont understand 😂 And when like fir the Fast and furious licence when asking the producers: Do you think we can milk this licence for one more movie? The answer is always YES... Sad!

Most of this likely not going to matter for Rise of the Beasts but it’s nice to see how far things have come for this franchise and how important Bumblebee was to starting a new continuity to get people back on board for this franchise

Ah, Transformers movie... i remember watching the first one at age 9 to 11 years old and even though i impress how M.Bay movie revolusion cartoon Transformers into 3D like in Transformers Prime, it still traumatize me for how scary looking all robot in all of the movie...

This was really good. Shows the reality of the franchise. Well as you can see all the movies have similar plots. There is hardly anything to distinguish them. Only the first movie and Bumbelbee had some originality. Rest had all similar and outrageous plots. Transformers of Dark Moon too had some originality in the sense that there are group of bad guys hiding in the Moon who were brought back buy the US spaceship. but the ultimate development was the same. Story line is same Transformers versus Megatrons. A source of unlimited power with Decepticons trying to change Earth in Megatron. and humans caught in the middle. This clearly means studio was writing the script. No real depth, no intelligence and most importantly very little logic as it is clearly illustrated. I mean if govt. is anti-Transformers shouldn't the first person to be locked up would have been Shia Lebouf and Megan Fox.
