I noticed something, the scene of him flying to Peru he looked like he was gonna fall apart, but when that energon wave hit and we saw him carrying bee, he looked new and rebuilt in a way

@@depthcharger3607from what I heard, transit was cut from the scene for "too violent" and will have a blu ray scene in disk (if I remember correctly). But, it's odd they considered it brutal since scourge and battletrap had some gruesome deaths.

Actually Mirage doesn't seem to like Stratosphere probably because of the fact he's like a hunk of junk, and the fact he's like an old guy, maybe those are the reasons why.

Based on Jetfire old saying in rotf, he said energon is what keeps them from falling apart and rust away. So it means when the energy surge awaken the energon, it completely fixes his rusted old parts and make them all shiny and new.

Bro when you really look at it, Stratosphere is HUMONGOUS compared to the other transformers in the movie, especially Optimus Prime and he’s massive. Just look at how he held Bumblebee with 2 hands as if he was a butterfly.

Well, both metroplex and omega supreme towers over him, but nonetheless, he IS the biggest transformer of the film, he is also considered a cargo plane, so it would make sense that he would be able to carry the other autobots

In 0:22 I noticed that Stratosphere's plane mode the turbines emit smokes like something is broken, and his vehicle parts barely holds together probably due to aging but after he felt the energon his plane mode looks newer in his 1:48 when he dropped Bumblebee.

I kinda wish after he'd gotten "repaired" by the Energon wave, he came into the battle in some capacity. Imagine after dropping Bee off; he just does a complete U-Turn and comes smashing into the ground, annihilating a tonne of the Freezer's to save Cheetor and Rhinox.

This was my only complaint of rotb. Why the hell wasnt he used in the battle ?!?! Yes he cant fight, but dude, he huge as hell. Like 6 times bigger than prime. He could just kick the terrorcons, even help give prime a boost to the control center. Hell he could have took mirage's place in the diversion plan.

He wasn’t used in the battle because he is the only one we know in this continuity to actually be big enough to carry other transformers and if he died how the hell are the Autobots gonna get back to america. And probably because of bee scene. And because we have those frenzy like terrorcons that can crawl over him and try and kill him.

This is pretty much the first live action Transformers he appeared on Last time, it was in Bayverse and in Game, DOTM where he was a cargo plane, C-17 Globemaster III And the scene where Bumblebee jump from Stratosphere is similar almost similar to Bayverse DOTM game only in the game, he was in vehicle mode

The thing with Air Razor was that Primal crushed her spark to kill her and she was also most likely infected with the dark energon. Maybe that is why the energon surge did not resurrect her.

Planes are built lightweight as possible also comes with structurally weaker compared to the rest made of heavier composite metals. Maybe he cant fight with how brittle his frame and only act as logistics for the team just like how he transport these fat asses.

Is it wrong for me to think that stratosphere was put in this movie soely for convenience? Because we never hear or see him, nor hear anybody else talk about him for over half the movie then he shows up out of nowhere because they need to be carried a longer distance then they can feesebly drive, then after that hes not shown again, it would have been nice if he stayed to fight with them all

It sounds like they took an AI algorithm, fed it Demoman's voice lines from TF2, and made it speak the lines in the movie. Which is ironically fitting for a robot character.

Watching Stratosphere fly to Peru in the old stage he's in reminds me a lot of the Total Drama Jumbo Jet from Total Drama World Tour because of both looking like they could fall apart.

0:59 there is a cgi error when the stratosphere is transforming he has his back to the autobots but when the scene changes he is facing the autobots

Dispite being different from his ROTF character? I actually like the fact that they got John DiMaggio to voice him in this imo and plus I enjoyed his Scotsman voice too XD lol.
