I love that little G1 missile "easter egg" Hope they do a BB Cybertron inspired Laserbeak in this style at some point.

Looks like a really fun little figure, although I do think he should have come with soundwave to offset the terrible, terrible alt mode on that figure. Articulation looks really nice and the details are great. I only wish he was able to move side-to-side. Very few beast modes can do that but it adds a lot to the expressiveness.

This is actually one of the best Ravage designs I've seen. Very well detailed and made. I think I will have to look at getting this. I don't like Soundwave's alt mode though. Paint it grey, add a Green Goblin figure and you have a crossover vehicle, now add a Maximal version of Marvel's Man-Spider along with Spiderman, crossover 2-pack.

glad that ravage is not only getting his own standalone set but also isn’t restricted to being squished flat for once, he looks really nice in three dimensions

I love that this core class pairs up with the studio series soundwave and it kind of makes up for that funky Alt mode

Hasbro should create 2007 movie Frenzy, DOTM Laserbeak, 2007 movie Scorponok, Lockdown's Cybertronian Wolf minions from AOE, ROTF Reedman ROTF Scalpel, ROTF Alice the Pretender, ROTF Ravage, 2007 movie Dispenser the Mountain Dew vending machine robot, AOE KSI Oreo bot, TLK Sqweeks, TLK Quintessa, DOTM Steeljaw, TLK Cogman, DOTM Pink Bumblebee Laserbeak and TLK Mohawk in the Studio Series Core Class line up in the future.

They make a perfect duo sounwave and ravage without a doubt my preference of this Wave

Ravage is the best mechanic pet

Something that always weirded me out. In ROTF, Ravage was a weird skinny, one eyed freak and yet you could still see that it was some weird, robotic, alien cat. But in this movie, where the design is undoubtedly better, with better proportions improved details and no weird design choices, like the single eye he kinda looks looks like a dog. 🤔🤨

Great vid. I did wind up picking up ravage before I got soundwave and they are very good together. While I thought I would hate Soundwaves Alt mode, I was wrong and I really like it. It's great to have a different alt mode that's Cybertronian and unique. They stepped out of the box so to speak with these.

Another excellent review! :D This is a really cool Studio Series Bumblebee (2018) Ravage figure, and he goes perfectly with the Studio Series Bumblebee (2018) Soundwave! ^^ Even all of his weapons get stored away nicely in his alt mode (though I do wish his face was hidden just a little more, not a big deal) which is awesome, and there's even enough clearance in Soundwave's chest for Ravage, and his weapons to be stored inside, which is even more awesome! I think my only criticism--as you've stated--is that it's a little too tight for Soundwave's chest to close all the way without the risk of its clear tab breaking off, though thankfully, that can be a bit remedied. Other than that, solid figure to go along with another solid figure! I'd love to see you continue more videos doing collaborations with Core Class figures, and Studio Series figures!

Honestly I love this duo, these two are actually my introduction into the Studio Series (when I'm writing this I just have Ravage, Soundwave is being sent and due for Monday) and I am not disappointed. Looking back at what we had 10 years ago these new toys are amazing. Thank you for the review :D. Update I got the package and once opened I transformed my Ravage and put it inside Soundwave, well the leg is broken now after taking it out lol rip

The thing about this that makes me angry is that this is a standalone toy. This should have been packed in with Soundwave for free! This thing's tiny, and the Soundwave that this is meant to interact with has crappy alt-mode and lazy transformation that makes it a rip-off. To compensate for Soundwave's shortcomings, this should have been added as part of the deal. If Kingdom Blaster can have Eject, why couldn't Soundwave have a Ravage or a Laserbeak?

I’m wondering why they didn’t use balljoints at the little feet to give him a slight ankle tilt or a head rotation at the very least. Idk about this guy tbh, hopefully I can get him on sale but at the moment he seems very below average for a ten buck core class figure

I hope Hasbro makes the following Studio Series figures: Core Class, I'm not sure if the Core Class Shockwave is supposed to be to scale with Leader Class Grimlock, but here's what I want for the Core Class: Age of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimus Prime Revenge of the Fallen Megatron Dark of the Moon Pink Bumblebee Laserbeak MV1 Ironhide Age of Extinction Hound The Last Knight Optimus Prime MV1 Starscream Revenge of the Fallen Mixmaster Deluxe Class: Age of Extinction Rally Vehicon - transforms from a robot based on the Power Battlers artwork into a licensed Rally Fighter car based on the ones used by Cemetery Wind, and has a Cemetery Wind soldier figure and a chainsaw weapon. Age of Extinction Vehicon Brute - a retool of The Last Knight Berserker that transforms into a Cadillac Escalade instead of a Chevrolet Suburban and lacking his weapons, instead having two miniguns and another Cemetery Wind soldier figure. I’ll definitely pick it up ‘cause the robot form looks incredible but that alt mode is awful. It’s just rolled up into a big messy robotic block.

Little fun fact, in the German version of the movie he was called Lavarige for some rease. First I thought I didn't hear it right, but after rewatching the movie a couple time, Soundwave really says Lavarige. Weird that the changed that 🤔.

My only problem with this guy is that on my copy I physically cannot fit his altmode into Soundwave's chest. I don't really care since I was either going to display them side by side or with Ravage lunging out of his chest like he was in the middle of ejecting, but it's still kind of a bummer

So, I thought I commented before, but Ill say it again, if f I haven't already: I was hyped for Soundwave even though he wasn't exactly G1, there were enough elements to make me want him in my collection, but ravage looked a little off to me; more like a wolf than a panther. However, this review makes him look a lot better than I'd originally thought. He actually does seem to have feline traits when his mouth is open. I display my figures like statues, so, Soundwave will be displayed next to Megatron on his throne, and Ravage will be displayed either ejecting from Waves chest or crouching between wave and Megatron. I just hope laser beak is released too like Rumble.

His sound affects are a bit cringey but I still love this guy's content
