Wow, this just blows the 2010 Battle Blades Optimus Prime outta the water!

The arms transform like DotM Voyager, the legs like AoE Evasion, the panels like RotF Leader/MM. It's like they took the best of every 2007- OP ever made... ...and made it 10% smaller.

This is all I ask of my transformers, a lot of little parts that go places.

this prime is almost perfect i just hope that his backpack was transformed like how either first edition optimus prime from transformers prime or battle blades prime did

I like it well enough. Never had a movie Prime aside from EM, so I think he looks good. Also, I like that the Cons have a strong presence in this line and (for the most part) dwarf the Bots. Hopefully this does well enough to get a decently sized Bonecrusher without the terrible arms. DOTM Barricade is a pretty definitive version, but I’d take another of him just to have the whole first movie team in scale with each other.

Very nice figure, I like this the best from the Studio Series so far! Movie Prime kinda grows on me nowadays, as I get more and more figures of him. Get well soon!

I quite like the thing, between the look to the transformation to the weapons I think he’s real good! Probably gonna pick him up after his price drops a tad

The reason that this figure is so small is because, the toyline is trying to be accurate to robot mode scale, meaning that optimus is smaller than starscrram and blackout will only reach grimlock shoulder

I actually Love the dark silver makes Optimus look like he's seen 💩. Also the reason why he's that size is that he and the others would be scaled properly like they were they're sizes in the movies . I also hope they make a studio series Jetfire so you could make a super jet powered Optimus Prime like in the movies. Overall in my Honest opinion 9.5/10 👍😎. One more thing I will honestly say this Prime looks like its more fun to transform than the Leader I owned

There is literally nothing tricky about lining up panels on this figure. You did it the hardest way possible

It reminds me a lot of the First Edition TFP Voyager Optimus, with how the whole upper half collapses to form the front of the truck

I'm just glad that the Transformers Prime First Edition Optimus Prime mold is getting more use (heavily retooled, but still). That figure was, and still is, my favorite OP figure.

Legs are miss transformed but he looks decent. I really like the pose ability

Apart from the short smoke stacks and no gold part of the flames, i really like it. I'd buy a DOTM retool with "abs?", a maskless head and either the energeon axe or rifle

This series is about accuracy yet the DOTM Optimus is 10x more accurate

I think of this figure as a Dark Of The Moon figure mixed with Optimus in the old AOE broken truck body because of the dark colors.

I was hesitant on getting him cause of his torso and backpack but it's starting to grow on me and I may purchase him.

The OptimusPrime is quite cool. I would probably not buy it with my own money but I would be very pleased if I received it as a present.

I much prefer my 2010 Battle Blades Optimus. It looks spot-on, has a descent transformation, is a good size, has the Matrix in his chest cavity, and doesn't have such dark grey on him. Plus, he has two guns AND his swords. No complaints from me.

The arm transformation is from the dark of the moon optimus, and his legs are from his age of extinction mold.

I've hade it for about a week and it looks/feels like a mix of the evasion mode prime and the first edition tfp prime.

I wouldn't pay full price, but for $10 at Dirt Cheap, I did pick it up.

I actually like this kinda deep voice when you have a Cold you almost sound like a çomputer robot voice kinda

The darkness in the color scheme would be great for a nemesis prime.

This transformation does remind me of Optimus from Transformers Prime (1st Ed.).

The front of the cab/arms and chest are exactly transformers prime first ed optimus prime, while the lower legs are like AoE evasion mode prime.

My only complaint would be how the chest looks besides that looks great 👍🏻

This has similar base mechanics as the Prime figure, but it is a lot more complicated.

The legs are definitely a slight tweak of the ones from Age Of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimum Prime.

"After 10 years I am sick of the movie optimus design" it's kinda Ironic seeing that after 30 years you aren't sick of g1 optimus's design lol.

It's a decent take, considering an attempt to introduce proper movie design character scale and an MPM Optimus feel in design. They made Grimlock the roof in scaling, hence we got a small Optimus. I don't see why people call this toy ugly. Keep in mind each Studio Series toy represents a character in a particular moment in a Bayverse film. They didn't just make a version per film, people- they picked a character from a scene from a movie. Optimus here is represented in his blaze of glory in the forest battle in ROTF. You can consider the dark colors a nod to dirt and dust as he is depicted with the forest battle background and the two swords in the moment when he says: *I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON!* Even though he's smaller than the usual sizes, he's still impressive. The engineering here is a treat for those who've transformed many Optimuses in the past by hearkening back to particular part movements. Really hope 3P toy makers give him weapons.

I finally got this guy and, in hand, he isn’t as bad as he looks on camera. I’m just curious as to why, since Primes chest is formed from the windshield of his truck mode, this figure has a faux chest in the first place. There have been different iterations of movie Prime where the windshield is integrated into robot mode. I guess I don’t mind, but those big black hinges just really detract from the figures overall look.

My figures screw that keeps the bottom of the smoke stack together with the rest is loose. How do I fix it? And can u give tips for transforming the front of the vehicle? It's pretty hard as it won't stick together with the rest...

Looks alright as a standalone figure but not as an optimus prime imo. I would grt it if they repainted it, changed the molding a little to give the figure its own personality, change the weapons and make some slight modifications to the alt mode (maybe like a crane in the back go pass it off as a tow truck?)

I like the figure just have a issue with the feet being loose so he can't stand any way to fix this ?

for some reason mine's legs get looser and looser every time I transform him, but if I tighten the screws, it gets fixed, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore...

You have the legs mistransformed, the top calf-wheel can fold up onto the thigh and the fender can fold down

Yes, the torso section is transformed like how the first edition tfp prime dis. This legs remind me of the Dotm leader prime's legs. Either that or i'm wrong (Edit): legs are aoe based

I admit, I do have mixed thoughts of the figure, the robot form looks interesting, sure I would had loved a better paint scheme, especially if the blue was darker, but it's ok really, the transformation seems interesting, like really interesting, the truck mode not a fan who it came out in this figure, but it's tolerable.
