It’s really cool how this is CG animated but the characters are designed just like the original cartoons from the 80’s. Way to honor the roots, while “taking it to the next level” as well!

Though there are some flaws: some characters are short and stocky , unnecessary deaths, Short runtime , voice acting issues , little personality diversity , some characters screentime issues ? These are some issues . But hey there is always room for improvement.

@Hexon 105, I personally love a lot of the Bayverse character designs. The Transformers could certainly have been written better in the films, but in my opinion, the designs themselves look brilliant, and I think they brought something new and fresh to the franchise.

I have not seen anything yet. This is all I've seen so far. I love how Skyfire stands by Starscream's side. He seems more seasoned than his naive G1 cartoon counterpart who had no idea what was going on.

Unfortunately Ultra Magnus has ALWAYS been the running joke of the Autobots. Killed and blown to pieces in several versions of the Transformers. The only Ultra Magnus that seem to kick @$$ was the Magnus in Transformers Prime voiced by Michael Ironside. Ironside Magnus was cool. The Magnus of Energon and Thor's Hammer Magnus had attitude but I just couldn't get into them or the shows. Blown apart by the sweeps, loses the Matrix, killed by Six Shot, Tortured then shot point blank by Megatron, Rodimus's lackey and always in Prime's shadow. *sigh* The writers have shown absolutely no respect for this character since 1986.

For me it’s what made it interesting. It’s true that there’s barely any colour either in appearance or personality, but the over the top seriousness was part of what made it refreshing from the other series imo.

Cybertron has trades with other planets. That's probably where they got the fabric from. At 0:08 you can see the flag waving in the background. There are multiple scenes with flags and torn cloth pieces waving in the wind. Cybertronians probably knew the use of fabric

SPOILER: He remains one for the first 3-4 episodes, but turns Bot in the last 3-2 due to Decepticon tactics (which in this series would involve mass-scale brainwashing/genocide, depending on whether Megatron got his hands on the Allspark) not agreeing with his sense of honour. He gets left behind on Cybertron with Elita-One, Red Alert, Chromia, and Omega Supreme after the Exodus
