The bee thing for the fruit trees, you have to keep the fruit on the trees. Just found that out 😆

The days definitely go too fast in this game for my liking. I wish we could slide it to 50% like in Coral Island but at the very least I wished like you said, it would pause when decorating or in storage too. I’m with you with the animals not sticking near the lure too. Like what’s the point of it then? 😂

I love aesthetic farms, they're so pretty, but I'm like you, for my own island, I prefer a working farm where everything is easy to access. I've been struggling to decide exactly how to set it all up, but your video gave me some great ideas! Thanks!

If you use the jar of bees next to a few beehives it will add one bee to each of them but you need to keep your character from running away for it to work. I just built a fence around my character and it worked fine. I don't know if it adds more than one bee with the larger jars of bees. Sorry for the long message. Hope this helps!

My bee thing works! I had to put my 4 fruit trees on the 4 corners of the range and I started getting hybrids. They'll have a swirl around the new sapling if it was successful. It seems to have been more successful for me once I filled it and then added a worker bee each day to keep it ot full. It doesn't seem to trigger if I didnt interact with it the day before. I set it up this way while i was blowing through days working on my flowers and got so many tree babies lol I am on switch though, so it could be broken for PC.

@@KelseyKate oh another I tried was leaving the fruits on the trees too. I don't know if that made a difference. Hopefully it works for you! 🤞🤞

exactly the kind of video I've been looking for. I love this game but my biggest gripes are how short the days are - there is so many fun things to do in the game and by the time I'm done doing a 9x9 veggie garden and cared for my animals (who NEVER stay by the lure and keep getting in my way constantly), I feel forced to pick one activity for the day or I can't do much of anything to a reasonable extent. This is made infinitely worse because time doesn't pause when I'm looking through inventory (which on switch is clunky to navigate quickly) or decorating my farm. I constantly feel like I'm speed-running all of my tasks. NOT what I want in a cozy, farming sim. I feel super rushed all the time and it's starting to ruin the game for me because I enjoy a slow, steady pace. I seriously hope they patch in a toggle that slows down the clock and actually pause the game during decorating and ALL menus and inventories.

I totally agree! I had a bug though where it didn’t pause in my inventory until I pressed the settings and access my inventory from there instead of pressing the inventory button, I don’t know why! Now my game always pauses on inventory! Not on anything else though 🤷‍♀️

tysm! you can get more nectar by "putting Buddy-type critters in the Fae Critter Conservatory". I think if you go into your fae conservatory and click on each creator you've already given it, it should tell you what it generates out.

And if you have a high catching lvl you get the nectar already while catching them as a bonus

There's a bug with the hives where if you put them near flowers, you may only get medium honeycomb instead of small. They're aware of it. On the other bee thing, I think it says it's supposed to have a chance for a new tree to sprout if you put it near trees. Mine hasn't worked. I put it near fruit trees.

the one for the trees said it has the chance to give u saplings from the trees that u cut on the range of the item but it has to have active bees while u cut them and the other ones i have mine close to flowers and i have got honey just fine not sure if we supost to get a higher quality of it tho...... but it has a bunch of little annoying bugs that needs a quick hot fix

This Bee thing at the fruit tree is for breading fruit tree only low chance bit higher when the differnt tree have fruit on it

Idk about the beehives either i think both are bugged cuz all i get from the beehives are medium honeycomb when the recipes want small 😫

Take 'em away from your flowers. I have my hives in the third farm, which has zero flowers and I get smalls from 'em.

I thought the jar of bees would give me bees to catch for my beehive but nope I was wrong 😢 my play through bees have been so hard to come by

One of the chief complaints on release was no time pause in single player and a time adjustment slider for multiplayer. I am sick of the game not pausing in storage and decoration. It so dumb, especially in a game where they want you to spend your time decorating and getting color palettes, etc. I doubt they will listen. Someone has probably already told you, but the propagation hives don't give you nectar. You have to have Bloomed Fruit trees (fruit on them) and then need to be near the corners of the propagation hive. There are many videos on getting the other 4? types of fruit trees this way. This is something the game NEVER tells you. Also there's tricks to get many more bees with the bee potions and the propagation hives. The game doesn't tell you a lot which is so stupid. I found a really good and easy flower breeding video that was made to not be super complicated like all the people who put charts in... I want to relax and play, not do math and make spreadsheets and graphs. 😅

Ty some has mentioned the nectar so I’m experimenting with this now. I found a bug with the pausing, so if you access your storage via your house, the game pauses, or if you access your inventory via the “esc” the game pauses, and then Everytime you access your inventory the game will then pause. You could try it see if it works for you. I know they have just done a patch fix where I think thery have extended the days but I haven’t read all of it yet
