Our backyard renovation took 4 months to complete! In our old backyard, the pool took most of the space, and it was very dated. We decided to use a modern backyard design to give our outdoor living space makeover.

There really needs to be a better term for your business. "House Flipper" sounds so cheap given the scam-level, crude, superficial embellishments many people do to get a house sold. Your renovations really improve the value and quality of the homes (at least just going by what we can see on KZfaq). You really are building value into the real estate.

Wow, so beautiful. It go from boring look to a modern and inviting entertaining back yard. I love the wood deck (Ipe wood). I just wonder the Ipe wood still does not buckle up after one year? The wood deck manufacture always recommend at least 1 ft about the ground so can have enough air flow. Thanks so much for showing this.

Upper Retaining wall posts seem too short. Was engineering calculations submitted to building dept? In my city, any retaining wall taller than 3 feet requires calculations. How is rain directed from the new pool deck? Was soil beneath sloped to a drain?

Perfect renovation. Can't wait for cost breakdown, etc. Love the Ipe wood. My patio furniture is Ipe and ages beautifully while also being durable. What type of maintenance does the deck require?

Thank you! I don’t think I’ll share a cost breakdown as we never added up the total cost so we didn’t have to feel bad about how much we spent. I know it was A LOT 😆. I don’t think it requires any maintenance at all if you are ok with it greying. Otherwise, you may want to seal it so the color doesn’t change over time
