Treating transgender patients with injectables to help them look externally more like they feel on the inside is a great privilege for any clinician.
However, as we discovered in this week's Aesthetics Mastery Show, it also carries with it extra responsibilities.
Clinicians must become expert in their understanding of sexual dimorphism, so they can treat their trans patients to look more masculine or feminine. Dr Tim explains sexual dimorphism in detail in this show.
We also discuss the additional weight of responsibility for patients undergoing transition to take great care with their psychology at this vulnerable time.

Georgeus Vid. Guys....do u use Radiesse to treat and masculinize faces? It would be interesting if u make a vid about CaHa Filler and its uses. I personally love it and use it a lot. Kisses from Hamburg

Hello. Are you able to use filler to make the brow line/ orbital ridge less prominent or blend it to make it less dramatic?

Hi Kate, Yes, you can you blend in the structure, an advanced trained practitioner can do that for you.

I am a transgender woman and have dynamic chin ptosis from a chin reduction in my facial feminization surgery. I was wondering if adding volume back to the lower part of the chin could fix the issue of the dynamic ptosis. Meaning my chin muscles tend to droop below my chin when I chew or smile. Wondering if this would help or a chin implant would be a better solution?

Morning Jessica. I can’t say with sure confidence as I can’t see the degree of ptosis but I think dermal could improve the look of your chin if you go to someone experienced. I cannot comment for the chin implant as this isn’t within my scope of practice. But again I would recommend having a consultation for chin surgery to discuss all your options. Kind regards Mary.
