I think u r sharing wrong information...As per my knowledge on transit visa we can go outside the Australia airport and on transit visa we have to comeback in 72 hrs on airport as it valid for 72hrs. Secondly if we apply transit visa from india there is no need of biometric just online application required which is free if we apply from nz then biometric is required.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts but No I am not sharing the wrong informationat all. I am sharing what's written on the website. Some people have shared their experiences that they were able to go outside on the transit visa. It's not true for everyone and is dependent on the the immigration officer's decision and the gap between your flights. I have also mentioned that the biometrics requirement varies depending on your location. Thanks 😊
