Your friend man said many Iranians study in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. From historical times the Parsis had made their home in Bombay on a large scale. Even today Bombay has maximum Parsis. There are Iranian cafes with their tea and maska buns. Parsi temple, their Towers of Silence for the dead, Parsi Gymkhana etc.Pune city also has large number of Parsis. When I was studying in school-in Devlali( near Nasik) there were many Parsi students. Parsis bake nice breads. Tatas are Parsis.So too Godrej family. Along with Gujaratis, the Parsis played a big role in enriching Bombay.
