Translogic Quickshifter Review on 2020 Kawasaki Z900

Just decided to get a quick shifter so i started looking and best one i can find is TransLogic, its expensive but one of the best one out there, they make all the OEM quick-shifter for many different make and models of motorcycle. after living with the quickshiftre over a week i really love it! by far best quickshifter i have used! highly recommended for any motorcycle.
For 2020 Z900 product number TLS-iS4-DCS-85 but make sure to communicate with the customer service to get appropriate parts for your install. enjoy : )

Translogic are working on a new version of their qs where you can make adjustments on the fly on the modul without having to tinker with enter pro tuner mode, .. I think that will make it much easier to use if you have to make adjustments .. I may get that modul for my Z900

That’s an awesome news! Version I have installed if I need to adjust the shifting speed it requires some effort lol but the setting comes with the shifter is so good 😊 I didn’t bother to do any tinkering lol! Enjoy you z900 ! A sub to my channel would be awesome 👏 thank you 🙏

Yes pretty much plug and play but plugging requires some effort to remove the fuel tank , watch my installation video! No programming required!! Default settings are perfect for road riding! Thank you

Really nice video! Im going to get one myself. Had that translogic on my old ninja. But my 2020 z900 needs it soo bad. Just an idea, i think you should try having stabilization on your gopro. Its a bit jumpy in this video :D but I like your videos still. Im a danish motovlogger myself :)

I agree, ones you use a quick shifter you always go back!!! Sometimes I use ND filter and when I do it turns off hyper smooth so I decided when I vlog I won’t use ND filter. Thank you 😊

@@SoloMCRider yeah i know. Motonosity really loves him some motion blur... and I get it, it really does blur the movement. But to me thats almost a movie effect. We all know how it really looks cause most of us ride ourself. I lile the smoothness of a video, which means higher fps and no visual effects on the movement. Have you dialed in your QS since the video?

To be honest with you I have the Quickshifter in stock setting, it is the perfect sweet spot for me! It has nice weight to it and fast!

QS systems just provide OPTIONS. Nothing about QS interfere with all normal functions. It's just giving riders options, to shift quickly, reduce time, reduce effort, focus on other things when accelerating.

Hi there, this Quickshifter is up only for 1 down 5up. If you set it up for GP shifting you can do down online. Thank you

Thanks, I never really looked into autoblip system, just wanted good OEM quality up shifts and easy installation without any fuss so Translogic is what I came across!

@@SoloMCRider thanks. I'm actually debating between the Striple RS and Z900 right now. So am evaluating what my own final set up and price would be. So far it looks like the Z900 is the more affordable option for me. Just the basic price is a whopping 5-6 K USD cheaper in my country. Did you ever consider the Triumph?

Usually Transmission and clutch is very smooth on Kawasaki bikes, you are absolutely right my 2017 MT09 was equipped with Quickshifter and I noticed the same thing, I think one of my video I did mention about the smoothness between MT and Z!

I ordered from translogic website in the description. I paid $390 for my z900 and product is coming from uk 🇬🇧 but shipping was very fast for me, took about 1 week to get it. Great product! Make sure to reach out to customer service to configure the kit for your bike! Good luck 👍

@@SoloMCRider Have another question about the quickshifter. When did you order yours? I ask because on the website, now they actually have one listed specifically for the 2020 Z (TLS-iS4-DCS-Z920-85). Guessing with that one there is no need to reach out to them to configure the kit?Even a little more disappointing is you said you paid $390, their site lists it for $439. Yeah it's only $50 but they jacked the price up already? As much as I like it and it does seem to be a really good one, they're one of the priciest ones already at $390 then they jack it up another $50, I think I'll pass.

The option I had is up shifts only, I did not get the auto blips down shifts. I known there is an option available now for auto blips up and down! Thank you

Ik have Healtech QS on the z900 2020, sometimes I have false neutrals. What about this one? Ever had problems shifting?

So far it’s been really good 😌 I have been pushing it hard last couple days and no issues whatsoever!!! No false neutral at all👍 very happy with it!

Quickshifter is doing it’s job very well!! My bike is tuned and has full exhaust system installed! :) my z is fast and furious now ! Good luck 👍

It’s working as it was on first day or even better lol! Did Moutol oil change and shifting even got smoother!

@@SoloMCRider👍 still can not understand why kawasaki dont put a quick shifter on the z900 and we have to upgrade itself. Anyhow the z900 one of the best 💪

@@SoloMCRider hi, please confirm if it’s a bidirectional quicker. Also, the setting from the factory just work as it is , or do we need to calibrate it. Is there any way to bypass the quick shifter if we want to without removing the harness?

I like both bike, every bike has the good and the bad! MT09 is very comfortable and has so much low end grants! But z900 is fast and lot more stable, I would say more refined! I like both of them!
