i dont think that will work if you want full range sound. you will need a full range speaker,the porting allows the bass to come through. as you can hear there are highs and mids in the sound of the speaker. if its only bass you want,then you will in all likelihood need a different cross-over in it so the the note will only play bass. otherwise its like trying to play full trebble through a sub or bass through a tweeter,wont work.
