great pictures. I am a truck driver in the U.S and it's been my dream for a long time to drive in another country. In my opinion Norway is the most beautiful country in the world and would love to drive there but I think my Peterbilt is too big,ha

Lol you take a look at us Nordic truck drivers driving in winter conditions and then you watch the American tv series Ice Road Truckers and you can see the difference with modern style and developing country style..

yes we are heroes!!! If we all stopped just for 1 week the world would go back to the dark ages. Its a shame the world doesn't realise it.

Transpohans, a Belgian company constantly breaking the cabotache-rules and driving like mad-men in our country. I can see one of the reasons here? If one stop to take photos every 2nd mile one have to make up for the loss of time somehow? It is quite an achievement to get such a bad reputation as a west-European Company, driving like they were the only vehicles on the road, the only truckdrivers in a hurry? 5:23 : Goods safely? Respect? I'm sorry, no. No respect from me.

I know Transpohans and the drivers. I meet them many times on the ferry. You write "breaking the cabotache-rules". That is not true! They drive to norway and unload (legal)! Then they pick up a export load (legal) or a load for a other place in Norge(legal)! After that they pick up a load for the kontinent and going out, so all is legal! I don´t know how they drive but I never heard that a driver must pay or is going into the jail in Norway. Last winter one of them have a accident on the rv3 but how many drivers from norway making accidents? The Norwegian means that they are the only people which can drive in the winter...But sorry, that is not true!

NorgeChris I know many drivers who react on how they drive. They also break the cabotache-rules by planning the domestic trip between the import and the export trip. They have regular trips to Bergen from Oslo for Schenker, which is not legal on a regular basis! I agree with many Norwegian drivers; They drive like mad-men.

Ahhh, on the ferry. There is not many overtakings before blind turns there and the speed is not very high either. ;)
