I love how lush and green things look in Switzerland, they are good at keeping their trees and bushes in cheek and make a very neat job of them. Other people might say that it's just very ordinary but it's the pride and the high standards that you notice. Very beautiful and lovely.

They have keep theirs environment neat and tiny. Also flat and smooth road surface with just little portholes.

Thank you for an absolutely superb video taken on a route with which I am familiar. I would also strongly agree with Neil Burns' point of 'how lush and green' everything looks. The Swiss take an enormous amount of care in looking after their beautiful country.

Rather narrow aisle, but very colourful seats. Not entirely sure about the double axle at the back, I feel as if they have made the bus unusually large for no apparent reason.

The British built buses are large so that they have very high carrying capacity! I wish more British operators had them!

This bus length up to 13.4 meters. It’s a great people carrier with its large capacity.

@@Fan652w even in the UK, they carry a large amount of passengers on their double deckers but they don't need the TWO lots of wheels at the REAR!!! And if you check the drop-down description you will see that it's still an ADL Enviro400 (ADL: Alexander Dennis).

The double-axle at the back is, I suspect, needed to keep the bus within Swiss axle-load limits. I have been on these Swiss Alexander-Dennis double-decks both in Lausanne and in the St Gallen area. Sometimes these buses are packed, especially on the Heiden-St Gallen run. In Switzerland it seems to be the policy to run the BIGGEST bus the road will safely take.

@Josh Hodgins Transportation explorer The electric buses we passed every few minutes on the section between Riponne and Coppoz Poste. They take their currrent from the wires strung above the road. Modern trolleybuses (especially those in Switzerland) have 'in motion charging' batteries to enable them to run 'off the wires'.
