This is an Asian spa where each gender is sectioned off because we are completely NAKED in that area! It’s not just some quick change, you are sitting in the jacuzzi with them. AND it is very common practice to bring your kid of the same gender with you because these places are supposed to be family friendly. The people who are transgender in Asia either don’t go to the baths or go with their biological gender. That’s it.

Transgender people if they were at all concerned about other people's rights, they would respect that instead of insisting on flaunting their junk and making people uncomfortable. If a person has male parts, they use the men's room and vice versa.

The more immediate problem is that men who are not trans are indeed taking advantage of the current situation and walking into women’s change lockers/showers. It’s pretty obvious when someone has splotched some lipstick on, a dress, and then ogles all the naked and semi-naked women in the locker room that they aren’t there legitimately. It’s disgusting. Quick question.... If a man who is urinating in public can get arrested (yeah don't pee in public) and put on the (certain type) register for indecent exposure. How come a trans female who has male genitalia can walk around naked and expose children to the same sight and it's not indecent exposure? It's the same thing! I work at a school in California and I was told the other day I can’t tell girls who feel like a boy for that week they need to use the unisex bathroom. It pisses me off because there are times I’ve had to check the boys bathroom and caught boys smoking and even found a switch blade in there. But now I don’t feel comfortable to go in there. All it takes is for this girl to say I did something or saw something. Their putting my life at risk. Or what if this girl makes a complaint because she saw a boys junk. Or on the flip side what if there’s weirdo adults who take advantage of the situation or boys harassing this girl because of her beliefs. It’s a loose loose all around and the state and school districts are setting us all up for problems. The safety for the majority out weights the feeling of the minority!

Trans issues really have to rely on women being forgiving and "nice" and just assumes they will be okay with it. Women's sports - forget women who may have invested a lifetime in getting good at sports, and then having to compete against biological men. Women's change rooms - I think it's the change rooms that's the issue, the bathrooms maybe less so. Safety is an issue.

If you want a gender neutral area, make one, but women deserve safety. There needs to be a single sex safe space.

As a trans woman this is such a hard topic, but I do agree with the woman in the video... although trans people have rights, there are also societal rules that everyone should follow... we as LGBTQ+ people need to learn the difference between taking space in society, rather than trying to overthrow society... I don’t know exactly how that went down in the restroom, but when I’m in public spaces I’m for sure protecting myself and covering up what I need in order to remain respectful... it’s not about ostracizing trans bodies, it’s about being respectful to fellow members of society.

I took my daughters in the men's room when they had to pee, until they were about 7. Then I stood RIGHT outside of the woman's room when they had to go (so I could hear them if they needed me. it's scary raising kids in this crazy world.

It’s a shame women can’t feel safe in their spaces. While that man is so quick to tell a woman how she should feel about a situation he apparently couldn’t even relate to, people like him and a lot of others, don’t realize that there are women who’ve been raped in public places or just suffered sexual abuse period and to be in a women’s space and see a penis swinging in your space, that’s traumatizing. When I was breastfeeding my daughter, I was aware that it was legal for me to breastfeed her in public, however, knowing that it made people uncomfortable, I would either use a blanket to cover up or normally, I just tried to feed her privately. Who wants to make others uncomfortable and especially unsafe?!? It's absolutely unthinkable to me that someone would feel so comfortable making so many people including CHILDREN, feel unsafe... Also, the reason that a transman would have less issues going into the men's bathroom is because there isn't a physical threat being posed the way there is when a transwoman goes into the women's bathroom.

I 100% agree with Preach's statement about keeping his daughter with him to the bathroom. When my husband is deployed, my sons ALWAYS went in the women's room with me for safety until they were old enough to buddy system and I was still inside mens bathroom entrance talking to them. Same for my daughter, if I'm not present, she goes in with my husband. I trust no adult around my kids for good reason. Wish more parents took these measures, especially with their boys sending alone to the restrooms.

I’ve been saying this for YEARS ever since this whole bathroom debate started cuz it’s not just about bathrooms. Gyms, locker rooms, spas, etc that are supposed to be gender segregated to make women feel safe and protect young girls all get grouped in. I just KNEW stuff like this was gonna start happening.

When my son was small, I used the private family changing rooms and not the women's change rooms because he wasn't female. I taught him to respect that the signs mean something. As he got older I was able to give him more concrete and meaningful reasons behind why a woman who is changing her clothes wouldn't want a young boy in the fitting room. How did society forget that there are actual reasons behind having separate spaces?

Trying to advocate for trans people while also trying to protect women’s rights to feel safe…. THIS has been a lot of people’s issue all along concerning the trans movement. Not everybody is just “transphobic” just because they approach the topic with some concerns or reservations about how things can/ will be handled (mainly how catering to trans women affects biological women).
