One thing... These types of build tutorials you did here is what made me such a FAN since a couple years ago, and a SUPER Gaffed Academy Squad Member! I LOVE your build tutorials. So I hope you will bring your "old school" presentations back, such as this. Hands on build work will keep the Squad from getting dementia and stuff! 😂 And so much FUN! I have built a DOZEN TOTB gaffs, just for "shits and giggles" (after the first 2 which were for practical reasons!) 🎩😁 And a few flap cards. And then I took it up a notch, and ordered YOUR Pro quality builds! 😀

This is brilliant! Can you explain why you use a balloon rather than elastic thread? Seems the thread would be thinner but perhaps not as "springy?" I never would've thought to use a balloon. 😃

Thread ok but would be on outside of card. Ballon inside so card still smooth in deck

Sometimes Sir Gaffer shows both ways. Thread sure is easier, but the balloon builds are MUCH cleaner. But WAY harder to build! 😉

This isn't one that you are going to get perfectly on the first try. Might take 3 or 4 builds to get one you are really happy with. Take your time, and enjoy the fun of the build! If this is something you really want to perform, I TOTALLY suggest you order one from Sir Gaffer. Or better yet, order an Ultimate Gaffed Deck! This, and a LOT else, is included! I LOVE mine, tbat I ordered many months ago. And I have ordered more of Sir Gaffer's builds. With this particular gaff card, you can not imagine the quality. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to tell it's not one regular card! Sir Gaffer builds PROFESSIONAL CLOSE UP quality builds! Worth EVERY penny and pound!
