Trap Lore Ross explained why he referred to the late rapper King Von as “rap's first serial killer” in his controversial documentary. Citing lyrics and a multitude of evidence, Ross defended his claim, arguing that Von's repeated reference to murder and his seeming personal gratification from the act aligned with the FBI’s definition of a serial killer. In spite of personal safety fears, Ross decided to create the documentary after Von's death shook him, being a fan of his music. He claimed the intention wasn’t to sensationalize or gain viral traction, but to question the truth behind the rapper's self-proclaimed body count. Yeah but most people aren't as powerful and connected as the movies make you think. Von would have to find him in the UK, fly there, kill him and avoid detection, fly back and spend the rest of his life not getting caught. Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? I think the gratification is what separates them, I don’t think Sammy had a lust for killing people. He did it because he was ordered to or felt it was necessary for an organization. I think that the term “serial killer” is more for the ones that kill random innocent people habitually. Von was killing in revenge of all the people that the GD’s killed, and GD’s were doing the same back to them. They were in a war. Both sides chose to play the game. They knew what they were signing up for. A “serial killer” is more for people that kill random people without a motive. I think that Von honestly felt like he was doing it in honor of his dead friends and was trying to prevent any more deaths to people on his side by exterminating the opps before they kill more BD’s. I don’t think that he “just liked killing”. He just liked killing people that killed his friends and wanted to protect his people before they got killed too.
