Gray the nanite entity is totally vanilla! They usually happen if you discover the L-Cluster and it's completely empty (no tempest and no Dessanu)

There are things I still have yet to see for myself in a game, like the Tiyanki grave world UPDATE : Tiyanki Death World is weird asf, I'd be interested to see my options if I could revisit the site as a Reanimator

i do wonder how a species living in the L-Cluster would even get to be xenophobic. "we know we are alone in our mini galaxy and nothing lives here. but if it did, we would hate the crap out of it"

There is a thing with L gates that every jump between two L gates is going through the L cluster gate(fleets appear there for a fracture of a second) but AI does not take that into account. BUT if you park a fleet in the L cluster next to the gate, EVERY enemy fleet jumping through any L gate to any destination will be instantly forced to fight that L cluster fleet.

Not just if it’s right next to it. If, through mods or some other thing, you have insane range, you can start a fight even if you are parked on the center of the system.

Just so you know, if you're getting say the rare crystals tech when you don't see any on the map, it means you have planetry deposits. You won't get the tech unless you have some depostist to exploit

Re: using Grey as a battleship. It's worth mentioning that strong single units are deceptively weak. Most of the FP comes from their tanky nature. They'll eventually get overrun if caught.

Something kind of crazy is that the timing you had with leaving the L Cluster with the Devourers becoming the crisis since had you been unlucky with L Gate insights the Devourers might've blown up the galaxy before you had a chance to know the galaxy was going to be blown up.

That Gray leader/ship is pure vanilla. The game probably spawned it because you "discovered" the L-Cluster officially. Would be funny if you had gotten the other events like Grey Tempest.

Jump Drives and Sapient Combat Computers don't actually impact which crisis spawns anymore, though jump drives will permit the crisis to spawn sooner than if no one had any jump drives. Sapient Combat Computers on the other hand just permit the robot uprising to occur (though The Flesh is Weak disables that anyway). They changed them when they added the setting for which crisis will spawn.

The stuff about dangerous (red) techs making a particular crisis spawn is no longer true. It used to be that way, but now dangerous tech has different (although still [potentially]dangerous) effects.

I've seen you either nuke the x25 Crisis with the Engine or avoid fighting it... but can you make a video where you flat-out honestly defeat the x25 Crisis? No Engine, no hiding, just brawl and defeat it proper, fair and square?

I do want to eventually take on the 56x crisis for real, which involves beating the 25x! Just trying to find the time as it’ll take a long while compared to these quicker games! Maybe after combat rework updates out

@@Ep3o wouldn't lack of alpha-strike battleships make it even harder? Like combat reworks seems it'll force you to use part of your naval cap on basically support ships, where now you can just focus on the Neutron "brawlers"?

Masterful Crafters isn't just about maintaining consumer good upkeep, it both gives you more consumer goods meaning more you can sell on the market, and provides a huge trade buff that boosts your energy income by an obscene amount. Massive boost to economy overall.

I decided to try stellaris on a higher difficulty and started with a tech rush and everyone hates me except for the xenophile empire and they all have equivalent power and are building fleets so I’m scared

man I see rare resource research at year 9 id cry from joy, so many of my Stellaris runs are ruined by it refusing to give me exotic gasses before 2300.

i'm pretty sure that jump drive has no impact on extra dimension invader chance but PSI one do, can't remember which dev dairy indicate it?

Jump drive tech being unlocked and psi drive moreso can make the extra dimensional invaders appear earlier

Lucky, the Gray is arguably the best event for the L-cluster, you have the worst, the Gray tempest which invades the galaxy, the neutral where the L-cluster is empty or L-Drakes, than, the Gray basically the nanites destroy there creators and unite under one entity you find them and there like F it what do i left to loose and joins your empire, so roleplay wise the nanites destroy your ancestors empire forcing them into hiding and after untold of Melania later they now willingly work for you

I have a question.... What market are you buying from if the L-Gates are closed? This mod should prevent you from using the Market until you open the L-Gates...

If the entirety of his empire is producing what's already on his top outliner, then what internal market is making them that he can buy them from? If you're cut off from everyone else and your resources are limited, why would you have two separate markets? That makes NO sense.

@@GyorBox then by that logic when you start a normal game you should not have access to it because you are also isolated from everyone else since you have encounter nobody and are still stuck on your homeworld, which we know is not the case, so yes internal market

I see it as the internal market of your empire. The resources at the top is what your empire owns but there are also external forces within your planet trading and buying goods within your planet. This market is always there for even vanilla empires!

Even if you haven't met anyone else yet, not being stuck in the L-Cluster with limited room and resources means there is no need for internal civilian industries to not produce stuff because there is no need to conserve those resources, and thus have a market.
