I think here in the USA. every cat should be required to have a license and a owners name and address. Way too many cats running wild doing all kinds of damage to native wildlife plus urinating and deffacating on private properties.

@intothenight1993
@intothenight1993 Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate. Yes i remember that problem when I was that age... But you just have to be patient. Or maybe you could look at getting your minor's gun license which you can't own a gun on anyway but it allows you to shoot at a range etc and saves you all the bother of redoing your safety test etc when you turn 18 and then you can probably upgrade to your full AB license a lot quicker and more easily. You will have to look into it though as that's what I did. I got my minor's license when I was about 12 but that was 18 years ago now🤣 things might have changed. But it was no trouble then to get my full license later. Let me know how you go👌

Do I recall traps being deemed illegal?
@intothenight1993
@intothenight1993 10 ай бұрын
No. The old ones with teeth on the jaws are illegal but so they should be because they are cruel. These traps just shut and hold and don’t usually even break the skin unless they jump around for too long. And I have been caught a few times on the fingers myself so I know what they feel like.
@maxpinson5002
@maxpinson5002 2 ай бұрын
Actually, those old traps had teeth to help hold on to animals that had excessively oily,greasy fur that would otherwise pull out of a trap. They were definitely not to dig in to the hide and flesh of an animal. Those who trapped for fur would have been foolish to use something that did excess damage to an animal because the fur buyers deduct a goodly portion of the price for damaged pelts if the teeth were there for the purpose of puncturing the hide and muscle. Teeth on trap jaws were strictly for animal retention, not for any degree of added cruelty
