I'll take a partial at "x" amount of dollars and move my SL to just above break even to account for slippage. So my broker I normally do 0.40lots on US30. When it hits $15 l'll partial to 0.35 and move my SL to just above BE. Then I don't even bother looking at my trade. Sometimes it hits my SL and then goes in the intended direction, sometimes it just hits my TP. As you say, it's a game of minimization for maximum returns.

It was a really nice explanation thanks! I have a question about BE. If i entered the trade in an OB zone, which had the 2. mitigation already when I had my limit filled, can I then adjust the stop to BE after the lower timeframe COS?

Salaam Br , thanks for sharing , I just started my paper trading recently, all what I can say is that I am not loosing , but I am experiencing a lot of drawdowns, My question is : how can I avoid consolidation areas and still come up wining something within a day not days ? Is 1H, 30m , 15m and 1 m for entries good enough for that? or I just need to start with 15m as my HTF? thanks a lot

Good question. My answer is why are you avoiding consolidation areas? From my personal experience the best setups are found in areas of consolidation. If you're struggling trading these types of situations it may be because you need to sharpen up your technicals or perhaps your technicals are perfect and you just need a trading plan with rules. If you have both and you're still struggling my advice is entirely avoid trading the consolidation and simply wait for the banks to grab the liquidity that resides at the top and bottom of the consolidation. And once both retailers are out that's when you can look to get in.

I really like the Content of your videos and Your presentation style...2 thumbs up!... But guy, you must stop reading 0.5% as "zero point fifty percent"! It is just plain wrong and possibly confusing! And it makes you sound less intelligent than you seem to be. You like keeping things simple and uncomplicated so please use the correct reading: "zero point five percent", or if you really want to take it to 2 decimal places "zero point five zero percent".
