For background information the song tear was written by the rap line for the members when they were thinking about disbanding. Suga stated “The lyrics for ‘Tear’ were written for the members. When I was writing the melody, at the time, we were deeply contemplating whether we should quit or not. When I played the song for the members, we all cried together.” They also use tear in different ways Rm says it meaning crying and sadness. Suga uses it as in things ripping / breaking apart. While Jhope talks about the fear of losing the members because he feels like he’s nothing without them.

But it worked because it was their true feeling about what it meant to them to disband. It made all 7 member cry and decided they were going to stay together. Now they are all in the military and we won't see them all together until June 2025 when they'll be back together once again.

This song is very emotional when you find the hidden meaning behind this. They wrote this when they were considering disbanding you can also see tears in J-Hope's eyes at the very end :(

Juice actually featured on a song with RM and Suga. It’s called All Night So in Outro Tear chorus RM says you’re my tear as in Crying, Suga says tear as in Torn and Jhope as you saw J-Hope says Fear
