With hot glue over the molding that is good ,you can make a mould for the opposite side ....

Can still see the crack on top. A couple applications, sanding between each probably would have concealed it completely. Still a very pretty piece

I thought you were going to make a matching mold for both sides, but I guess it'll not even be noticeable after you paint. I'm just to the part where you add the clay so can't wait to see the end!

I really like this piece. Curious as to why you didn't smooth/sand where you put the wood pate. I have never heard of Farmhouse paint but will check it out

Newbie from CT. The Blanket Chest is srunning! I really love the look. I have a piece of furniture in my kittchen that I use as a buffet table. I am going to add clay moulds to all the sides and "try" to paint mine as nicely as you did your. I will be a new follower to your channel. I now know the direction I am going in my kitchen remodel. I can't wait for sunrise to start the long job I have ahead of me. I have arthritus in my hands which makes painting a slower process for me. You mentioned that you sell the products you used on your page. I only see the foil and metalize link. Do you sell the paint and wax..... everything you used?????

you need to machine sand your pate' spackle.
