Hi thanks. The whining noise in the BC8 isn’t really the motor it’s more down to the way the reduction gearing works. It also doesn’t help that the standard speaker in it is pretty pathetic🙄. When it comes to quality the BC8 is definitely on another level. But then again so is it’s price tag. Mine is the flagship BC8 approximately £1300 without paint radio gear servos etc or hg for approximately £400 ready to run. To summarise yes the BC8 is more expensive but a significantly better truck. But I get the feeling that they went all out with the BC8 but the HG was made to be affordable and still a great truck. I would definitely highly recommend the hg for the price. Hope that’s helpful😜

I spoke to them awhile ago about it. The answer is sort of the fifth wheel on the BC8 is too far forward but can be easily moved towards the back. If this is done then yes it will connect. It will mean drilling new mounting holes for the fifth wheel though

they are both basically the same truck just one with a flat bed and one with a fifth wheel for a trailer. It’s mostly down to a colour preference. The crane only comes in green. But the trailer comes in green or tan. But you can buy the fifth wheel in green. So it would be no real problem to take the back off The green one and fit a fifth wheel.The quality is really good for the price. They don’t come without some small issues. The lack of a locking differential is probably the biggest one. But you can always glue up the differential. And the electrics could be a lot better it would really help if it had a drag break. But these things can always be changed out at a later date. Hope this helps

Devy Merced Hi . They are the black and white wires nearest to the middle of the lighting board. All you need to do is move them to the other side of the red and black wires That are next to them. Then they should stay on all the time. Hope this makes sense

motoacquatico1967 Hi. I love the BC8 trailer however it’s got quite a lot of issues for the money. Most of these are because it’s construction is plastic. I have already had lots of small bits come off. The ramps are also not very strong and prone to slipping. The ground clearance is not very good. But then it’s a lot longer. Having said all that I still love it it’s just a bit too expensive. The 806 however for me is a different story. It’s certainly got its problems like all these things. For instance the small controller it comes with doesn’t always hold a very good connection. The Spaces for the axles were too long so the locking nuts wouldn’t stay on. But with a small amount of trimming that was easily solved. It is incredibly well built for the money with very good ground clearance. And extremely heavy. To sum up. I love the BC8 trailer but at £820 is 3/4 of the price of a BC8 and it’s pretty much all plastic. The 806 from Banggood I got for £300 and it’s pretty much all metal. you won’t be disappointed . motoacquatico1967 sorry I’ve only just seen your message. Tank is always a good choice. But for looks I don’t think you can beat the 602. But there are couple of things you should know about the 602 before you buy one. I am currently on the third smoke machine they just keep breaking. The pins for the locking differential do not lineup so I can’t lock by differentials. And the ESC leaves a lot to be desired. It’s To fast even in low range. And the steering set up is way too weak. But even with these problems I think it’s still great value. I got mine delivered from Banggood for £300

The HG p802 and trailer and the p602 i got from Banggood. If you’re a new customer you can normally get a 20% off discount. The cross BC8 and trailer and the MC8 I got from a local supplier called greens models. But you can get them on eBay.

Sorry my friend I completely missed your comment. I like them both but for completely different reasons. I like the cross trailer because it’s massive it looks really impressive behind the mammoth. But I like the hg trailer because it’s all made from metal. It has a higher ground clearance so more capable off road. The mechanics of the ramp are much stronger. Carries heavier loads.But most of all the price.

87spike19 love the tonnage it’s on my list of would love to own. I’m not sure but I don’t think the HG one would fit anyway. The fifth wheel on the HG truck is quite far back. The HG trailer doesn’t fit on the mammoth. To make it fit I’d have to move the fifth wheel back. I love the idea of building your own. Have you seen Hobbyconcepts-llc he built a hemtt trailer from scratch. Definitely worth a watch

My smoke machine broke almost straight away as well. I’m on my second one which so far is ok. I think it’s because The piston bangs into the exhaust manifold on the outward movement. I solve this by turning the smoke generator as far as it would go and drilling a new hole through the chassis for the second mount they didn’t seem to use. I only ran that Esc for a short while and then upgraded.the esc they use is absolute garbage but that’s The same for pretty much all the electrics.
