I’ve seen do kashti ke sawaar to have no kashti at all in the end. So, advice for 40 yr old man is to please let go of that sweet girl and not become a trauma for her for future. There can be many sweet people who you meet in life, but it doesn’t mean you start cheating on your spouse with all of them. Have your own boundaries and self respect.

@23 min totally agree. i am the only Muslim in our team at work but our boss always consider halal/veggie options when going out for lunch. Even planning happy hours got delayed this year because it was around ramzan (i am the only person fasting at the time)

For the last question, ask your wife why she is like that, what's her future plan, maybe she needs a psychiatrist, or a person to she can open up, as you told her parents passed away she may need a understanding companion. After all this if she stays like that, then you should talk openly about second marriage to her. And as you told she don't want to leave you then you should provide for her as there is no one to support her.

No I don't think so he should keep his wife. Because if he won't love her & provide for her equally then he is doing gunah. He should make a deal with her e.g. to provide for her for the next 2 years and then eventually will end this relation. Now it is up to the girl to manage herself in these 2 years to become independent. Then if she likes marry someone else in the future.

@11:25 , Grass is always greener on the other side. Let me write shikwa and jawab -e- shikwa for life in Germany. The shikwa: I understand why people living in bigger German cities have this notion but this is not the case in smaller cities. For context sake, Munich is like Karachi/Lahore. Everything is available, most people speak English comparitively less Racist interactions. But what they do not understand is that the whole country is not like that. No halal meat shop in the whole city, you have to travel to 50km just to get halal meat. People in most cities speak only German and with an accent to add salt to the wounds. Meaning that the German you learn from books/VHS/KZfaq ect is almost useless. You can learn the language but you can never reach actual proficiency. Not being able to climb the corporate ladder because even with B2/C1 proficiency, you can never express your ideas with total ease. It doesnt feel the same as English which we have studied since we were kids (when we didnt have to worry about what to cook, what to wear, how to afford rent etc). You see casual racism everywhere, this is more common in smaller cities compared to Munich, Berlin, etc. For the upbringing of children, what would you do when the teacher has no idea about Halal? your child is the only brown kid in the school? There are so many examples which I can write which forces people to think about moving to an English speaking country. Now Jawab-e-Shikwa: There are smaller cities where things are getting better because of the Syrian migrants. People learning about Islam, new shops opening. When you spend some time in the city you pick up the accent too. I have, when I go to bigger cities Germans don't understand some words not because I can't speak German its because I am speaking in an accent THEY do not understand 😂. The language is hard but if you put small effort you can learn it, it only takes time and consistency. There is always going to be a glass ceiling for minorities, albiet more in Germany compared to other Western countries. If you are worried about not being able to move forward in your career, then maybe the company is not right for you (assuming you have done everything in your power to succeed). Moving to the outskirts of bigger cities would be an option if your city is too small and you face problems like travelling long distances to get halal meat or similar problems. You will have to make compromises in certain things. But do not make any compromises you do not want to make. It is your life, if you feel Germany is not for you, get the nationality and move to the UK or Canada. If you like it there then stay there. Or if you feel Germany was better, then you can always come back. Leave the judging to God. Worry about, and judge, only yourself.

True to that halal food thing overseas. Im myself a Dr in UK and whenever we do socialising they maje sure to chose a halal dining or more so generously ask myself or other muslims to pick a place as we cannot eat anything anywhere. People here are very tolerant about others belief and respect their ideologies too unlike most of the desis who love to poke their noses where they shouldn't Love the podcast❤

For the last question, I don't understand why this person being a man was unable to convince his parents and ended up getting married because of societal pressure, but at the same time does not understand that his wife was probably under similar or more pressure for this marriage. Secondly being a man, he can remarry but society has different rules for her. He is not a little child who was coerced into marriage. He took responsibility and now he thinks his own happiness is more important while he gets to ruin her life. As he said her parents passed away and her siblings are not supportive so she probably has no one who could financially support her. He also had extramarital affairs for the past two years and expects his wife to change. Perhaps they both need to change and come to an agreement. The sheer selfishness of this question is mind-boggling. Why does a man expect his wife to change into the person he wants? Matlab uski bhi koi personality hai. dono kuch change ho skty hain. So typical entitled behavior of Pakistani men. I should stop being surprised by now.
