Having grappled with a variety of mental health challenges including trauma, depersonalization/derealization, panic attacks, depression, and various forms of anxiety, I've personally experienced the struggle and desperation these symptoms can cause. Thankfully, I discovered a body-based healing method that not only brought me permanent healing, but also a new sense of purpose - to help others journeying through similar struggles. On this channel, you will find videos centered around mental health issues, strategies to overcome them, and tools to help you build resilience.
By subscribing and hitting that notification bell, you'll be the first to know whenever I release new videos. Every video is designed to empower, educate, and offer practical steps towards healing from trauma and it's associated symptoms.

I'm just realizing after finding your channel and subscribing yesterday... how messed up i am. From the time i was 8yrs.... I'm 56 now and struggling. This is helping me look back and realize what is going on with me. I have a lifetime history. Unbelievable. It also explains why i smoked Marijuana until a couple weeks ago. I'm so tired of it. I want to be better. I'm so thankful for all your information. 🙏🙏

Hey Jordan! Had a question when you were going thru your symptoms. Did you feel during DP that like you knew the history of yourself but felt like someone else was in your body and that everything became foreign and almost like you were seeing everything for the first time? Like confused in a way? And that you felt the world was in a movie and had like tunnel vision and like floating eyes? Very odd but just wanted to check. Thanks man

I’m 20, dropped out of high school, broke my back in 3 places, grew up selling weed to support myself, endless family issues, I feel like I regulate myself as well as I can but the people I already have in my life and I want to help me co regulate are completely hit or miss sometimes they make me more irritable

Hello Jordan! I am afraid that the symptoms of dp/dr will last me for years. I actually have anxiety and these are the symptoms of anxiety, but it's strange how for 9 months they don't go away, even though now I feel calm and I'm not stressed at all, I'm also not afraid of the symptoms, do I just have to have a lot of patience until the nervous system calm down because I don't know what to do?

How do you tell the difference between pushing through anxious activities for recovery VS. pushing into stressful activities that will negatively sensitize the nervous system?

Hi Jordan is possible to regulate when you’re in an emotional abusive relationship? That’s probably a stupid question but I just need to hear your answer…

Hey, Crystal. The answer is you don't. You leave the relationship. An abusive relationship often creates what's called a nervous system warzone which is an enviorment that you are not able to out-regulate.

@coachjordanhardgrave But I would also make sure to check with a counsoler to get a second opinion on what constitutes emotional abuse. I am assuming you are in fact under emotional abuse but I will also say sometimes people may be thinking they are under abuse when it's a trauma response from pervious abusive relationships that is making it appear as if it's happening again when it's not. Again, not saying that's the case, but it's a positibility and something to be looked into.

@coachjordanhardgrave Another situation could be that the person someone is with simply needs to release some emotion in a safe manner.
