Travel Across America with Me. After arriving in Salt Lake City, checking into an RV park, then grabbing dinner at a local pizza shop, we drove downtown. Two of the most impressive locations in the region are found in downtown Salt Lake City. The Utah State Capitol is an incredible masterpiece. But, most folks flock to Temple Square. We did both. We have toured all the complex before and heard a performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. This time our focus was to see the mighty Salt Lake Temple under renovation. What a sight to see. The centerpiece of Temple Square is undergoing a MAJOR renovation of Olympian proportions. The structure is one of the most masterfully constructed buildings in all of America. To see it totally masked in scaffolding and the underground floors and foundation exposed were beyond belief. In this video, I will take you on a tour of what is happening to this temple and show pictures of it prior to this renovation event.
