We had a similar experience on our long awaited post-covid trip last May. Sat on our plane though for 5 hours before take-off! A baggage handler scratched the plane while loading a wheelchair and they couldn't decide if it was safe to go or not. Then crew was out of hours but when we finally arrived sailed through as was so late! Silver linings and all that,although ruined plans for first night meal at Millers. Hope you put in a claim like we did. Can smile about it now but we were literally 3 minutes away from flight being cancelled apparently.

I had a similar experience with virgin , I flew on my birthday and we boarded the plane then disembarked ( my husband had ordered champagne for us to drink on board and my friend had ordered a birthday cake ) we had reservations at Wolfgang puck for dinner ! We spent the whole of my birthday at Manchester airport! They gave us £10 for food ! The crew agreed to fly even though they were at the point of not being allowed to due to the hours we had been at the airport! It would have taken another 4 hours to get a fresh crew so we all said we were ok with this ! They bought drinks and food around gave us all double the usual drinks ! It was midnight when I got my cake so everyone around us got birthday cake lol we saved the champagne ! Nightmare but we got there! They couldn’t get our cake or champagne off the plane ! It was a faulty engine !

I loved using Mears to get to Pop Century last year after my flight. It was so easy and smooth. No worries, just let them handle the traffic and driving. Nice. Great vlog guys and for keeping cool, calm and collected with the flight troubles at the start.

Wow what a long travel day!!! Very similar to our return VA flight from Orlando home on 11 January. Taxied to the runway and waited what seemed an age to take off. We then had an announcement to say we have to return to the stand as the air pressure was low in one tyre!!! A few hours later we eventually departed!!! Enjoyed the vlog as always. Looking forward to your next. Gutted we didn’t bump into you as we overlapped by a week! 😩

Looking forward to this series. Missed living through you guys in Orlando. The travelling seemed a nightmare, but these things happen. Hope you had an amazing time. We are going in October 2025 with our 13 year old son, we can actually start planning it very soon. Seems miles away, but it’ll be here in no time. We were out in orlando from 21st till the 12 January and got married out there on the 28th December. We had family travel from Gatwick on the 22nd, but due flight problems with norse, they didn't arrive till the 24th. Hope you had an amazing trip. I've never seen the parks as busy as this year. We are counting down until we go back at the end of April for our honeymoon.

Can't wait to see the adventures guys!! Remember claim for the late flight (will pay for some of the shopping 😂🤣😂)

You guys were 1 resort over from us (We were in All-Star Music) and overlapped our last trip by a couple of days as we arrived in before Christmas on the 18th and left on the 28th

I’m sure you guys know but if not you should be eligible for compensation due too your delayed flight, prob about £600 each. Martin Lewis has loads of info on his website.
